This song is also about adultery which in a few minutes has said beautiful and progressive things that Silsila couldn't in a 100 episodes that nothing is greater than your self respect. I wish characters like Mauli and Ishaan understood this. Love is great, happiness is great but loving and respecting yourself is even greater. Never compromise your self respect for a relation ship. Never.

I can never understand mouli's love for Kunal...when someone behaves like Kunal I will lose the respect,admiration,love and whatever I had for them...sometimes I feel mauli is not what I thought to be...

exactly one should always give first priority to their self-respect

Mauli is the same as she was it's just that we as viewers wanted her to be different. Remember this is the same Mauli who didn't forgive Nandini but was always ready to forgive Kunal. Right after Kunal called her a giri hui aurat and came back to her , she accepted him and kept a fast for him. Mauli even told him to in the camp track that despite everything she is falling in love with him again. Mauli was always hopelessly in love with Kunal so much so that she was always ready to forgive and forget everything. It's just that we as viewers were expecting Mauli will change and look at the bigger picture but that is clearly not going to happen.

I can understand her feelings. Its hard getting over your first love, and especially when there is an illusion that things can go back to the way they are supposed to be. We can't judge her or hate on her for making choices that may be different than ours. Like yourself, I too would get over a cheating ex real quick. But that's us and doesn't mean Mauli will be like us, especially since she loves people with every ounce of love in her.

My biggest thing though, is that at the end she should accept Ishaan and whole heartedly love him. I mean who wouldn't want to.

She herself is angry/upset with herself, you could tell, when she was apologizing to Ishaan. She herself is wondering what her issue is, what is wrong with her. Frankly we don't need to judge her. She is judging herself.

But it's not about getting over. It's about the fact that she is in love with him. I mean she has already admitted that during camp track . But earlier I could ignore it thinking it was a phase but not now. I think it's very clear that Mauli does love Kunal.
