So folks I watched today's episode. After yesterday's episode I was an emotional wreck. Like crying, smiling, angry, hurt, heartbroken all at once.
After today's episode I am like...
There is poem in Marathi. This is a poem that was written nearly 125 years ago in 1893. I won't type out the words as the words are way too difficult to understand. The language is old Marathi and extremely complicated. But I got my ma to simplify it for me.
So here goes. The meaning is
Happiness and sadness has disappeared
Laughter is missing
Tears have run away (from me)
The thorns have gone blunt
(Here it means that the thing which used to hurt or poke like a thorn doesn't hurt anymore)
The velvet doesn't feel soft anymore
(Here the meaning is the thing which used to give comfort or sukoon is unable to do that anymore)
Eyes are unable to see anything
Light has faded
Someone has also snatched away darkness
What do I call this state?
It is called zapoorza!
Zapoorza is a state of being neither happy nor sad. Neither angry nor hurt. It is a state of seeing and feeling nothing.
So that is my state after seeing the duplicate Mahir come along like he was there all along..
The second stanza goes like this...
The ones who feel all the emotions
How will they ever understand (what I am feeling)?
Even if they laugh at me
I will not (feel) fear (while) saying this
They say I have wasted (my life) but herein lies the true meaning
(I have wasted my life in BeHir love)
This meaning only those will be able to see
Those who are called mad
(Here my fellow BeHirians)
So what is that meaning called?
It is called zapoorza...
