The fundamental basis of kasauti 1 was that prerna and anurag has pre-marital sex and had a child and anurag married someone else.
What we instead get here is veena reacting the way a mother would to their relationship and warning them to stay away from each other. We already knew that shivi getting pregnant probably meant that prerna wouldn't. But I really like that they bring it out in the open and dealt with it.
