Uri movie is in incredible race. Crossed double century within 1 month

Debutant director Adity Dhar debut film Uri: The Surgical Strike is released on 11th January, 2019 with Vicky Kaushal in lead role. The film is running miraculously well at the box office. Even in its 5th week, Uri is competing with new releases and remaining top choices of the movie goers. One can imagine how well the movie has been received by Audience despite Uri received mixed review from critics.

After collecting Rs. 71.26 Crore in 1st Week, Rs. 62.77 Crore in 2nd Week, Rs. 37.02 Crore in 3rd Week, Rs. 29.02 Crore in 4th Week, Uri movie saw again growth on 5th Sunday. It collected around Rs. 5.58 Crore on day 31 and took its total to Rs. 212.78 Crore in India. Uri even outshines the collection of Bahubali 2, Padmaavat and Sanju in 3rd and 4th Week. An incredible feat achieved by this mid budget movie.

I didn't find the movie that great but happy for Vicky ..he took an average movie several notches above by his incredible acting and screen presence. Hope he finds more success in lead roles..he deserves lead roles more than Kjos elite nepo brigade

I hoped it would work for vicky but I didn't expect it to become a hit, a superhit, a blockbuster and now an all-time blockbuster. The ROI must be important.
