His team took over from Maan, as they saw Maan in thoughts and then Maan could hear him telling his story...His name was Josh...He was asked by Annie to kidnap Geet so that she would be struck there at London, never coming back in their lives again...The thought itself was horrifying for Geet...and so was for Maan...

He was not sure what to think...He was in a state of dilemma... Either call Annie and take his all anger out on her for whatever she was planning to do with Geet...or wait for the right time and deal with the situation...or trying to understand her situation and sympathize with her for her broken marriage... which was the last thought on his mind...

He closed his eyes, here he has started to think abt his marriage with Geet in a different perspective seeing Geet's pure soul...selflessness ...care for his family despite of her hatred for him as he has witnessed in their outing session with her...and there, his sister's deeds did make this difference...Even if Geet would have thought some positive abt him now he was sure, all was gone thanks to his sister...

He couldn't dare to look at her now, as his team escorted them both out and he only followed Geet placing his shivering hand on her waist for her comfort... She didn't flinch his hand off her body nor did she acknowledge his efforts...

As security cars stopped in front of the hotel, Geet got down and started to walk...Maan turned to her side and had a glance at her...Both were lost and haven't talked throughout their way to hotel..He sighed and got down, following her nodding at his men...who acknowledged and went back to their cars...

Maan:- Geet... (He called her and she turned to look at him) Take keys go inside room am catching up with you...

She nodded and resumed her walk...He turned and looked at the men, holding a few papers in their hands...He needed to finish the formalities and so he had to stay back...But, in his heart he wanted to go back to Geet and console her...at the same time, he wanted to call Annie and take her class...But, he needed to think from his brains and so both were waiting for their turns...

Maan entered his room and found it empty...He looked for her and saw her standing in the balcony, carelessly leaning on the railings...His heart stopped for a sec seeing her suicidal attempt...He rushed to her as his brains worked and holding her from abdomen, he turned to look into her teary face with his anger filled eyes...

Maan:- What are you doing???

Geet, snapped at once and looked into his eyes with same hatred and anger, he has witnessed for so many times in her eyes...

Geet:- Why do you care???(She shook her head...Going back)

Maan:- Geet stop right there... You are not doing this...(He tried to get hold of her arms and she again snapped)

Geet:- No need to pretend anything... Am well aware of your thoughts...Like your sister did...Trying to get rid of me???So I will make this easy for you both... (Maan looked away hearing her)

Maan:- Okhh...Okhh... Am not moving...But, plz...don't do this...I really don't want you do this ...plz...(He raised his hands in air as he surrendered himself in front of her craziness...and she broke down, seeing his care)

Geet:- Why??? Why always am the faulty one???(She pointed her finger at him)It was you...Who started all this... I didn't come in to your lives ...You entered first...destroyed everything and went away...And I just wanted some peace...inner peace seeing you ppl suffer...But see, here too am the one at receiving end...(Maan looked down)You asked me last night, why I don't go back...and I gave you the answers...Told you so many things...Still you wanted me to go away???

Maan:- You... remember?? (He asked not sure, if she remembered everything from their adventurous night's events)

Geet:- Yes, I do now... (She laughed thinking something)Annie... She is a witch...A true evil witch...Her hatred for me is so unjustified...I didn't ask Arjun to leave her...I could have...But, I didn't...Coz there was no point I was thinking abt starting my life with him...She is not only insecure but she didn't even have trust on her love...It was not my fault that he chose his family over his love...was it??? (She asked but didn't wait for his reply as she contd)She could never understand anything...Here, I was thinking abt how her marriage can come back to the track...even talked with Rathods, tried to convince them and she...She just ruined everything...

Maan(caught her blabbering):- You met with Rathods?? When???

Geet(looked back at him widening her eyes):- I...(She looked down, looking everywhere but him)

Maan(leaped towards her at once and cupped her cheek):- When did you meet them Geet??? (He looked into her tear filled eyes with his concerned ones as he cleared her vision) Tell me Geet...

Geet(His soft voice melted her inner side and his urging eyes made her tell him everything):- The first day in here... When I went for shopping I came across them...Mr and Mrs Rathod...

She briefed and once again her selflessness won his heart...She was so pure soul...She wanted better for Annie and there she only looked Geet as a villain in their lives...He stared her for long and then hugged her...Whereas she was expecting an outburst from his side as to why she was poking her nose in his matters...She sighed...She knew his words...his gestures were changing her hatred for him into something else and she wanted to hate this feeling but rather she found that relieving...and that scared her...

Maan:- Why are you so good Geet...(Her heart skipped a beat as he confessed of her goodness)I promise, Annie will pay for this...She has to answer me for everything she has wronged you till today...(He looked into her eyes, breaking their hug and promised again) I promise you this...(Her brain asked her to come out of his arms...from his false promises but she found them comforting and her heart wanted to absorb all the positivity from this man...When he found her lost staring him he cleared his throat)Now, we must sleep...We have a flight to catch early in the morning...

He took her towards bed and she lied down there... He then went to pack their bags...and her seized brain worked again...she was lost in her own battle of thoughts...If Maan said anything to Annie, that was bound to affect Dadimaa...and she was willing to do anything for Dadimaa's sake...If that meant, retreating back to her previous life and going away from Dadimaa..Then she was willing to do that too...Only for Dadimaa...She has found a friend...a mother...a grandmother in her...She has been her inspiration till today, the only positive person in her life...Who really cared for her...If not for her, she would have destroyed the siblings but the goodness in Dadimaa, her always supporting her and her health always came in her mind whenever she thought to do something evil against the only girl in Dadimaa's life...and today too the only worry was for Dadimaa...

Maan saw, the gifts she chose for Annie...and without second thought, he knew all were Annie's favs...and she was bound to feel happy but he felt sad for Geet...His heart went out for her all sufferings till now...He was going to mend all his sins...

Both didn't know each other's thinking...and only thought what they felt was right thing to do...

He came to sleep after he was done packing their stuff...and found her staring him...She sure was lost in her thoughts and Maan didn't meet her gaze...After a bit of reluctance he finally sighed and faced her...Took her hand in his and started...

Maan:- Promise me Geet, you won't harm yourself...ever... (He added the last word and waited for her response but there was none..He sighed and again assured her) you are safe with me...I promise I won't leave Annie for this... She will have to answer me...I know am not a saint either but...what she was planning to do with you, was really wrong...and she will have to answer and confess all her deeds in front of me...you...

Instead of saying anything, she came in his arms and hugged him, startling him...and cried...She has been contemplating on something and now she was sure what she needed to do...He was going against his sister for her, that should have made her happy rather she was sad...She made him choose between her and his family and that started to make her feel guilty...In either case, Dadimaa was going to suffer which she would never want...So, she made up her mind and came on a conclusion...A conclusion, Maan was unaware of...

Soon the anxiety had its effects and she dozed off...Maan only caressed her head with LOVE till he felt her calmed...and then he sighed and closed his eyes... for relief...which he didn't get at all...
