AFAIK there is no wide rapper scene going on in India right now..

I may be wrong though..

want to know , is there any rap scene in india..

there is one here in Shillong.
Tiny scale, but rap battles, rap videos go on here.
While I think there is one quite famous in Mumbai, which I think Gully Boy is based on.

I am just watching it because the songs sound appealing, the characters seem intriguing and above all because it has Ranveer...Couldn't care less about the rap scene in India because Rap genre of music, unless the lyrics are really outstanding and relatable(like in GB), is not something that I enjoy!

EDIT: How relatable is GB? If we only consider the rap scene, its probably not relatable to a lot of us...However, I am hoping to see a story of challenges, struggle and victory told with the backdrop of this rap scene thing, which if told effectively- can be relatable to each and every one of us!
