I think to take that step babes have to feel that Ashok doesn't deserve it and till now Ashok was not bad, he was neglect and never pointed her wrong. Now babes going to see the BAD side of Ashok and also the final declaration that she is indeed not his wife.. I think after the case she will have final talk with Ashok then remove the mangalsutra starting a new life...

Being tradition follower, I understand how difficult for babitha to remove Mangalsutra which is there with her for the last 17 years. After court case, when she was declared all her ties are removed, NO relationship with Ashok, then she will remove it..

You so right about this mangulsutra thing,and one thing keep bothering like asoke's lawyer starts talking about babita's charterer why can her lawyer or any body didn;t mention asok and Mita s relationship??? like so double stranded as usual ?? like he is having 17 years of affair while married and still leaving with that lady without married but no one say anything????
