Please discuss.

For me, I wish useless actors and actresses weren't so heavily promoted. I don't mind nepotism but I think if a person is a crappy actor, stop giving them big projects.

I want real beauties like Madhuri, Juhi, Manisha, Urmila, Meenakshi Sheshadri, Zeenat Aman, Parveen Babi. 😭

I am so sick tired of seeing teeny boppers like Alia, Anaya, Tara, and actresses like Deepika, Sonam, and Anushka who all look like clones of each other. 🤢

Also this trend of ruining 90's songs by making their remakes needs to go.

And more movies that feature the Khans with female leads of their own age bracket. Want Aamir-Juhi, Salman-Madhuri, and SRK-Manisha (found them smashing in Dil Se) again.

Time to unleash the list lol.
I wish there was no casting couch. Or any sort of propositions to anyone for a chance at a movie.

I wish there were really rich hotshot women producers and directors. Literally more women technicians and support staff. Women in impactful positions and ruling the roost.

I wish all production houses and management agencies have a POSH ICC.Its mandatory but like everything in India not implemented.

Less starkids. More outsiders. The industry has become a monopoly for some. So more variety.

Lastly, writers should get their due. Its time they do.

1) More mainstream movies in the less urban areas. Like most movies are about well to do peeps in cities. Stree was really good- shot in a small town.
I want small towns and gaavs represented in mainstream cinema. Except anurag kashyap (not really mainstream but atleast more attention, radar mein hai)

2) More North East representation.

3) Stop stereotyping South indians, punjabis, bengalis. Like bro Chennai express was really offensive for us.

4) better lgbt representation. Stop the stereotypical gay characters. A lot of movies are casually homophobic. All these leads to hostility and lack of awareness among the society.

5) Stop making movies casually sexist, fatphobic, homophobic, racist.

6) The entire nepotism thing. I think the guys before me have stated it really well so I dont have to repeat it.

7) STOP GIVING CRITICS CHOICE AWARD AND POPULAR CHOICE TO THE SAME f**kING PERSON

8) More variety content. Like crime mein bhi, think more, make good creative stuff. Kudos to andhadhun. We need more of it.
Make some IT related stuff. Hacking, or silicon valley ish.
Make less cringey, accurate and relatable teen movies.
More light hearted chick flicks.

Many, lol but mainly

-make auditions and casting meritorial.. not cronyist/nepotist... try cast the best suited actor for the movie, rather than give movie to actor cause of name or some bigshot actor/producer barging in and claiming the roles(stealing roles for personal gain and ruining prospect of movie of maybe being much better with diff actor)

-try sustain , pay, and developed scripwriters - evry important!- so movies have a lot of original qualities rather than be copies from wherever

-ensure that young talent is scouted frequently- there's a wealth of talent in India, they just need a break and the proper channels to arrive to that one role that will make them known - so NO to casting couch, nepotism et al... try have festivals/conclaves where youth can demonstrate (for potential casting agents) their potential..including great dancers and singers that can emote well.A nation 's future is its youth- make sure they are involved and promoted froma rtistic to technical fields...and as much equal pay as possible.
