I think that Babita's lawyer knew about the petition.
Remember how he shared glances with Ashok's lawyer, how quickly he got the papers signed from Babita and not even letting her read a word as if there was something wrong written, and when Mini asked to read the papers he did not pay attention to her and was only focussed on getting the papers signed.

During his interaction with Ashok's lawyer he felt super nervous and it felt that they had already known each other for a while. Maybe he worked under Ashok's lawyer. Maybe he is scared of his power or maybe he is being blackmailed or something.

Moreover in yesterday's episode while Ashok's lawyer kept on arguing, Babita's lawyer stood there silently, he didn't utter a word. Even during post courtroom drama, he did not keep a note of what Ashok was saying which (maybe) could have been used as an evidence of harassment or foul speech against Babita (I'm not pretty sure).

If not for Mini snatching the papers from him ( lawyer), I don't think he would have willingly shown them to either Babita or Mini.

Something definitely feels fishy. Though this is just my assumption.

After seeing the episode for the first time i liked meeta she should teach a lesson to Ashok and for Ashok a slap is not enough for him he deserves brutal punishment how can he stoop so low
and thank god the judge was clever enough to see reality unlike other show where a judge acts according to lawyers clarification hope Babita will fight back and give a correct punishment to Ashok..
