PART2
MITHILA
D-day has finally arrived. It's the ladies and all the rituals have started. First the ladies are bathed traditionally with Haldi and after that the Shringer begins. Each is dressed, bejeweled and made ready for the upcoming event.
All the time there are music and songs. The ladies only blush, they r too full to express anything
Ram and his brothers are dressed and they approach their father and rishi Viswamitra and bashistha. Viswamitra praises Ram, saying he is concerned of his brothers even in his deepest pleasure. The brothers give big bro ram and devotional pranam, Ram blesses them all
Finally the grooms reach the main place. All four brothers are wearing special dresses and jewels and their faces are covered with jeweled covers. King Janaka and king Kusdhwaj are ready to greet them . First king Janaka pranams rishi Viswamitra, then Rishi Vashista, then He offers AArti to King Dasarath. Then he draws tilak of haldi and chandan and embraces him
Janka then passes to Ram. HE is the eldest Son in law, so he offers him AArti, draws tilak, then wets his feet and wahes them and cleans them. Finally Janaka passes ram a tray of 4 pradips, Ram holds them and passes them behind.
such elaborate processe are not shown for the other three, to my greatest sadness
However all the grooms reach the marriage station. There they are seated. JAnak again does the ritual VARAN of Ram, washes his feet, feeds him.
Its assumed the process has been repeated for the three also. Clearly the focus is on Ram and sita
Then the brides are brought. They are seated beside respective grooms. The marriage starts. All the procedures are shown for Ram and Sita. First Garlands are brought and all four ladies and gentlemen garland each other [MALABADAL]
THEN their hands are tied with haldi and chords. Then the end of their dupattas are tied together. After that The ladies rise. Following them the grooms-together they take the SAATPHERE. After SAAtphere they r seated. Then again there are a lot of showers of flowers. Queen SUNAYANA and King JANAKA holds the sindoor tray in front of Ram and SIta, The SINDOOR DAN happens. Ram keeps looking at SIta. Blushing and proud, SIta looks at ram and then at the screen
At the background it was seen King Kushdhwaj and other royal members are helping with the other marriages,
Amidst a lot of showers of flowers, a lot of songs, happy faces of ladies like MALVIKA , beautiful Sanskrit chants the marriage all four marriages happen
Tans note: this episode could have stretched for 2 episodes, making room for more elaborate detailing of other three marriages also, but kya kare?

it always happen..they r rushing it up..God knows why! r they given a time limit or episode limit for this Ramayan?
rush up no complaint, but when they r dragging the onset of marriage unnecessarily, they are rushing the actual marriage, totally pointless
