I think week 2 will get almost 30 cr which is good . It's slow and steady but reaching there.

Good going

61 cr week 1 is excellent for a woman led movie

So happy that URI is still doing great business. I want URI and Manikarnika to take over .

They deserve it

I don't want any discrepancy in budget when it comes to male or female lead stories.

actors are actors irrespective of the gender so there shouldn't be any discrepancy when it comes to spending on a good script.

for a male lead movie, they wouldn't hesitate to spend much more than a female lead movie

That's where I feel it should end esp when both the stars male and female are equal in terms of talent and the script is great.

Unfortunately though , Kangana has contributed to taking a step backwards ..

If you were a producer, you wouldn't be saying this. A male driven big budget movie like salman or aamir movie has much more chances of hitting 200-300 crores than a female driven big budget movie. That's why producers spend more on male driven movies. That's business 101. It's easy to say that female driven movies should have the same budget as the male driven movies when it's not your money that's involved.

Manikarnika should make more than Uri on its second Friday ,or it wont reach 80crs.

But I hope the verdict is still average.A film on Rani Laxmi Bai deserves at least that.

It would have been good for actresses if the film had opened big and made 200 crs.
