Sonam Kapoor: I will do Munna Bhai only if I'm the lead and film's called Munnibehen

Sonam Kapoor is awaiting release of her next, Vidhu Vinod Chopra's Ek Ladki Ko Dekha Toh Aisa Laga which also stars her dad Anil Kapoor, Rajkummar Rao and Juhi Chawla. A new poster of the film was released yesterday.

Soon reports had it that Sonam reminded Chopra of his 1942: A Love Story's actress Manisha Koirala and he wants to cast her in his next Munna Bhai series film.

When Sonam was quizzed about the same, Sonam denied being approached for the Munna Bhai series film and added she would do the Munna Bhai film on one condition only and that would be when she would play the lead and the film would be called Munni Behen.

Well thats funny considering the fact she has hardly been considered a good actress and known more for her pretty looks, fashion sense and bold statements. Not to forget her unimpressive dialogue delivery. Incidentally in her 11 years in Bollywood, she's done just 19-20 films and in that she has hardly carried any film on her shoulder barring Neerja - that too had few good actors in it. Infact its really 'over-confidence personified' to say something she said that too for a franchise like Munna Bhai.

Sonam made much news when she got married last year. Ek Ladki Ko Dekha Toh Aisa Laga releases today. The actress would next be seen in The Zoya Factor.

Jokes apart wouldn't want her in a comedy movie... she can only do a timid village girl role...
