Everyone is unanimous that the best time to be in Bollywood is now. Content is ruling over the box-office and talent is getting its rightful due. The industry seems to be brimming with talented artists. We are seeing newer actors and actresses bagging exciting projects. So, here is a look at five actresses whom we feel might be the dark horses of the industry in the coming years...

Kriti Sanon

The statuesque actress will be seen next in Luka Chuppi with Kartik Aaryan, who is on a high after delivering his first Rs 100-crore film, Sonu Ke Titu Ki Sweety. Kriti also has Arjun Patiala, Panipat and Housefull 4 in her kitty. It is a great mix of projects. While Panipat is her first big-budget historical with Sanjay Dutt and Arjun Kapoor, Housefull 4 is also a very successful franchise. The Delhi girl's career seems to be poised very well. With her stunning looks, Kriti Sanon has a huge fan following on social media. If these films turn out to be successes, she'll soon be in the big league.

Kiara Advani

The MS Dhoni (2016) actress is making quick strides in the industry after a rather slow start. Most people remember her as Sakshi Dhoni from the biopic. Kiara got noticed of late with her performance in Netflix's Lust Stories. The actress also did films in the Telugu film industry with big stars like Ram Charan Teja and Mahesh Babu. She currently has Good News! and Kabir Singh. There is a lot of focus on Kabir Singh, which is the Hindi remake of Arjun Reddy. She is paired with Shahid Kapoor in the film and her role is a sizable one.

Yami Gautam

Yami Gautam made a sparkling debut with Vicky Donor (2012) but moved to the South post that. In 2015, she had a small role in Badlapur, which was a much-appreciated film. The following year was also a very forgettable one for the actress. However, in 2017 she bounced back with Kaabil, which was her first Rs 100-crore film. Now, at the start of 2019 she has bagged her second Rs 100-crore film with URI: The Surgical Strike. The film is turning out to be one of the most loved flicks in recent times and is a modern war masterpiece.

Vaani Kapoor

The actress had impressed everyone with her debut film, Shuddh Desi Romance (2013). However, in a span of seven years, she has done only four Hindi films. This year seems to be an exciting one for the actress who has a film with Hrithik Roshan - Tiger Shroff which is releasing on October 2, 2019. The leggy actress has also bagged her first film with Ranbir Kapoor titled Shamshera that will hit the marquee next year. Vaani's career has not taken off in the way she was expected to, but the coming months might change the tide for this stunner.

Taapsee Pannu

Undoubtedly, one of the most talented and intelligent of actresses around, Taapsee has earned immense respect for her work in films like Pink (2016) and Manmarziyaan (2018). She has films like Badla and Womaniya coming up. Both the films look damn interesting. Sujoy Ghosh is the maker of Badla while Womaniya sees her reuniting with Anurag Kashyap.

So, who do you think can surprise us in the coming months?

I really want vaani to do well. She is a good actor and a fab dancer. Hope she finds work outside yrf too.

Kriti and Taapsee seem most promising followed by Kiara and Yami

None of them are going to make it. They all lack something that is required to be a superstar.
