Race 3, YJHD, Chennai Express and Ram Leela all released in 2013. All the four films were hit and all of them had equally popular male actors opposite her.

I haven't mentioned any film of Deepika or Kangana's outside the 2014-2015 time frame. So how is it that my argument cannot revolve around TWMR when it clearly does? And after 2013, if Deepika has a lackluster 2014 in her solo film, that obviously shows that people like her more when paired with big stars. What wrong have I said?

If people take it the wrong way, that's not my fault na?

So based on 2 films each...you're saying people liked Kangana more than Deepika in 2014 and 2015.. That's it? You're not talking about 2016 onwards right? Not about the present day for sure? Cool.

All the pairs have gotten love ...so how is it not to her credit to make all the pairs work ? Also how does one compare when Deepika has done such less female centric films...
That way Sonam has seen more success with no face value heroes than Kangana with Khubsurat, Ranjahana , solo Neerja , Veere .

Come on!! Veere Di Wedding is not a Solo film!!

This forum is just a bunch of serial killers gleefully waiting to strangle the last breath out of people's careers. 😆
I think when someone is unlikeable or people dislike someone, they just want their career to end.

Manikarnika is a flawed film with many ridiculous moments but will do well not only because of patriotism but because performance wise Kangana has given her heart and soul.

Yes, Kangana is a shitty human being and an egotistical control freak. Her directorial skills are mediocre (its just her first venture and there always is a learning curve. Very few people hit it out the park at first attempt). But Kangana is still a phenomenal actor. She has delivered some good gems, and i want her to thrive.

And please - take it from someone with experience - don't hate on or make fun of egotistical shitty human beings too much - they might become the next leader of your nation. 😆

considering finding fanny is the only time she risked being the solo face of a movie..i will wait for chapaak to give a feedback on it and whether that is true or not

finding fanny would have tanked be it with kangana..alia..or anyone else

Frankly, it's sad it had to be this movie. But I hope people stop investing money in Kangana. She needs to get off of her high horse now. And stop ruining people's work and discrediting them. Only when she gets no work, maybe she will decide to mellow down. How sad that I used to be a fan of this crazy person. Comparing her to Deepika is just ridiculous.

The only people comparing her to Deepika are Deepika's fans who are desperate to mention their declining star's name in any thread to keep her relevant since she hasn't had a movie release in forever and doesn't seem to have much going for her ahead...while hot and happening actresses like Alia Bhatt are racing past her and getting big roles one after another.

I don't care about Kangana the person but Kangana the actress is 10x better than Deepika could ever hope to be and they should never be compared in terms of acting skills, period.

Deepika had a movie release last year and will have another this year too. How is she a declining star when she starred in a blockbuster last year and has a prestige project lined up?

Deepika's state is not any better than Katrina when her fans can only boast of Padmaavat at present time where she was playing a show piece. She hasn't done a meaty role since Piku which released 3 and half years back. Yes, she did BM, Padmaavat, XXX bhi include kar lo. So you might say that she wasn't jobless. But these type of roles are not something a "female superstar" should/would do.😆
Yeah, Padmaavat was Blockbuster, so was TZH, a much bigger one, where Kat's role was actually appreciated. Anushka also had Sultan. There is nothing to talk about DPs career after 2014/15 because there's hardly anything. If Kangana had Flops and Disasters, then DP bhi koi jhande nahi gaade hai.😆
