I think he was angry with himself because he kind of realizes he cares more than he should, and also that his supposedly foolproof plan of keeping her in his life forever by asking for money, seems to have backfired. One, she's getting creative about finding ways to earn money and two, he ended up helping her win the competition even though it worked against him.
He wanted to rip the kite up in his frustration with himself and the situation, but by laminating it Guddan deprived him of that outlet too. It didn't help that he found her dancing around the room with it and celebrating her win (and his loss).Kahaan jaayega AJ?
