I think after she backhugged Mahirji.

She chose Naagmani and culprit over Mahirji even when he got sick. She felt bad remembering and thinking about him. But she made peace with the fact that he died.

But to actually come home to see a dead body hit home the truth of his death harder for her. More harder than she was prepared for or anticipated. She had the full impact of " you won't know it's importance till it is lost" that moment. Then to see him alive... that was the point... She knew she cannot lose him ... I think some of her invisible walls collapsed that moment.
