Over the years most TV viewers and ardent fans of some shows understood hard fact that TV fiction soap is more a business venture than meant to provide entertainment or resonated content or good story for GEC producers and channels that depend on this wide and long running opportunity to churn out revenue out of advertisers, who book slots in between telecast of their soaps.😊 Straight & simple😛 so why brag openly as if they maintain high family/moral values or abide by I&B regulations or work on social causes or portray women respectfully or uplift Indian culture in their soaps or reflecting changing times? 😕

Sorry folks had to post this..Many times heard/read top producer Ekta contradicting her own statements or defend her TV soaps lamely in her interviews. But last few months her direct statements on social media are making her laughing stock at times and/or often pissing some ardent fans plus exposing blatant lies! 😳

Read below Ekta's latest reply to a noted film journalist/critic on social media,
"No mam. I don't show violence against women ! Believe it or not! Women can fight in my shows but verbally !" 🤪

So wondering, was Zeetv sleeping all these months/years while telecasting BT popular soaps KKB & Kundali episodes without even reviewing?😕 (busy boss madam ignorant what was being shown daily/weekly on these soaps?) which glorify heavy doses of physical violence against woman/elderly ladies on prime time family watching slots, not withstanding even innocent kids. And madam who keeps regularly travelling with cast & crew for abroad shoots of her star plus long running soap tends to forget her team highlights huge violence on children/women/elders plus supposed egoistic abusive hero keeps on doing slapping/pushing/strangling/throwing down stairs scenes with his heroine.👎🏼, (ofcourse viewers need to forget what crap gets shown in the name of violence in BT horror/supernatural soaps which take so called creative liberties under mask of fantasy)

Hypocrisy at its peak. 😒 No wonder most of her BT team has turned lazy, arrogant & non receptive to feedback.

While Ekta may be busy doing OTT marketing & promotions at one end for webseries/movies and making few top channels spend crores on promoting her over hyped TV soap launches at other end, she is ignoring/forgetting that her Balaji telefilms after 25 yrs in market is not in good shape now, facing serious scarcity of reasonably skilled/experienced writers/creatives & directors in her team as most old team got displaced.. plus last 3-4 years Indian TV audiences access to information/data outreach has hugely increased due to internet & smart phones invasion so they can catch loopholes, lies & gimmicks easily.😆 Some body seriously needs to advise madam to hold on before jumping to make such blatant statements that mock her own work, people watch some of her TV soaps for various reasons at different time slots, so just focus on making money.

What you pointed out is very true @LA2725, there is no value for morality in the entertainment world, no responsibility to public sentiments and social ethics. Survival of the fittest is what counts, with so much competition due to the advancement of technology, trying to win TRPs and gaining income at all costs seems to more important. Naturally, the focus cannot be maintained on quality. I think ekta does not bother about the quality, she wants her shows to be a hit initially and then she does not bother. She takes interests only in selecting and creating the characters which she is really good at but gives quality the minimum importance. She understands the viewers mentality that if they fall for the leads, then nothing can stop them from watching her serials loyally, how crappy or insensible the story might go.😕😲

As I said its business and acceptable, and some people in industry openly admit it.. no need to make such hypocritical statements in public and mock her own soaps by bragging at regular instances as if she is doing women empowerment, changing society, upholding moralities, making people think, respecting women, limiting physical violence in her TV soaps.😆 (which is utter CRAP)

Some body show latest promos/clips of KKB to Ekta.
Looks either Pragya, Lady Doctor, Swarna etc. are not women and so there's NO violence against them other than verbal, or viewers following BT soaps have vision problem they can't differentiate gender correctly. 😆
