I would say both are making mockery of marriage, even Akarsh is just marrying to make Jhanvi jealous. He doesn't love Nandini. And he doesn't know that Nandini is not good. For him Nandini is a good friend and him proposing her just to make someone else jelous and then immediately a day after Jhanvi's death, he actually went to marry her. It is also making mockery of marriage.
It looks like it is just to add drama. They really like each other but honestly none of them know each other well. Seems like they will fall in love now when they live together and get to know each other.
Even if Akarsh is marrying Nandini only to spite or make jealous Jhanvi still at least both parties are aware what they are getting into . It's Akarsh's marriage , so he has every right to marry whoever he wants for whatever reason he wants . After all , what percentage of people actually marry for love ?? Also , he's not imposing it on anyone. We already saw that Akarsh is not exactly pushing Nandini away rudely and I say he's doing the right thing , even if it's wrong with his love for Jhanvi . He's not committed to Jhanvi , he doesn't owe her any loyalty . He can do whatever the hell he wants with his fiance , in fact the way things stand right now , Nandini , being his official fiance , has every right to get intimate to him and I think Akarsh would've been a good husband to Nandini too , given her whatever rights she'd have deserved as a wife . Mostly Nandini is marrying him for money , status and all that jizz and she's getting all that from Akarsh .
My point is - you've right to screw up your own life but not some body else's . Jhanvi has every right to marry whoever she wants , but not Thopofy herself onto some body else's. In that case , legally the marriage can be null and void if the groom wants so. Yes Akarsh is also wrong in using Nandini but it's not like he's using and throwing her away , he's following through . Which I'm glad of . I'm glad that Jhanvi's tears and fake confession didn't make him change his mind. It'd have been so wrong with Nandini , and I'd have questioned Akarsh's integrity . If he just throws away Nandini like garbage today just becoz Jhanvi all on a sudden was willing to marry him , then what is the guarantee he wouldn't throw away Jhanvi in the same manner for another girl ??
Right now , I'd not have minded Jhanvi pairing up with Veer ( provided this is the original Veer ) , had it not been for Mohit - Tina excellent chemistry.
Right now , both of them are equally flawed and Jhanvi after this bride swap marriage will be more heavily so , and therefore deserve the hatred from every one , after making them go through her "death" , "funeral" and all.
