Arent most of them held in January? Did I miss something? Theres zero buzz for awards this year😆

Whats happening? Are Karan Johar's cheque's not clearing or something 😆

Was wondering the same. The buzz is very low for the award season. Don't see the actor/actresses reheasing for shows etc like previous years even. When is Filmfare?

Filmfare is probably in Feb. The voting lines only close on 25th Jan.

Weird that they didn't conduct Zee Cine Awards yet. It usually used to happen in December.

What about Stardust Awards? Did it happen last year or they have stopped it.

Considering how many times they were hit by controversies of being 'bought'... maybe they have learned something and the whole panel lot are ACTUALLY WATCHING the movies and debating .. rather than give them to those they prefer(or paid/lobbied for the award).

..One might dream and hope😆

These awards shows only survive if big stars are going to be present.
At least some of the young actors need to perform.
Audiences in general don't care about who will win what.
They only want to see big names and the performances.
Most of the industry people don't take these awards serious because they all have their connections with these people. So only outsiders have it difficult to win something and it means something for them.

I guess that's why most of them will be cancelled if they don't get big names to the show.
Filmfare is waiting till they get a nod by their friends and will choose according to them the date for the show. I think SRK and Salman will be there.
