As far as I know each serial has a writer who decides what the story is and writes be story. The screenplay writers take this story and write dialogues for it.

I feel like the writer of kasauti made a huge error with Prerna's characterisation in the Naveen track and is not making as big a mistake when anurag - maybe even bigger because it seems like anurag doesn't even have any reason for playing two horses at the same time.

But the screenplay writers... they are doing such a good job. The video call scene was just so sweet and so natural. They lines they wrote - the hesitation, shyness, the desire to extend the call. So perfect.

They deserve applause for all the sweet and real moments they are giving us.

Agreed. I'm actually currently enjoying the prolonged journey toward their eventual confession. The video call scene alone showed us what great chemistry they have. The initial awkwardness that was borne out of the hesitation they had to confess their feelings and then their easy banter just proved that they aren't just a collection of fleeting moments with lingering stares, touching each other and her dupatta caressing his face. These moments are the result of a solid friendship and comfortable relationship where they have inside jokes and shared experiences which form the basis for an eventual love that could withstand all the villainy thrown at them. That call really embodied their "young love". I for one also thoroughly enjoyed the dream sequences and felt that the songs chosen for their respective scenes perfectly encapsulated what each of them were feeling then. They're great songs on their own but their lyrics especially fit the emotions well. The lyrics "Tujhe yaad kar liya hai aayat ki tarah" are perfect for Anurag in that moment because he's so familiar with her that she appears before him just like that. And the lyrics "Nazar jo teri laagi main deewani ho gayi" are perfect for Prerna because in that moment he appears and as if she's blinded by him she wordlessly follows and watches as he tends to her. I just think the way it was shot was a visual treat and the story elements like the video call providing exposition into the nuances of their relationship came together well . Episodes like this really affirm my faith in the talent of the show makers as well as the abilities of the actors to skillfully add depth to their characterizations. It was watching this that I realized, as much as we fear AnuKom becoming a reality because of the original, we shouldn't let that get in the way of enjoying AnuPre scenes and their journey because there are some truly beautiful moments to appreciate there.
