I am seeing that he is now 28 years old, with a 1990 birth year??? 😕

I could have sworn when that movie of his came out last year, Sonu ki whatever, he had a late 1980 birthday. If I recall correctly, his age was posted as either 30 on the dot, or 29 going on 30.

Basically, I think this whole PR drama with him dating that teenager, Ananya, has made someone make him younger...

Nope when Sonu ki Titu happened, I checked out his age and he was 28 then... Maybe he has reduced it by 1 year but he definitely wasn't 30 or anything.

I honestly do not remember him having a 1990 year DOB. Maybe he was born in 1989? but definitely do not recall him being as a 1990 year kid.

Actresses get hate over their ages, it's interesting how (male) actors also are doing this now. It's as if he wants to come across in the 1990 age group of actors. 😕

I remember him being 27 when I checked his age in 2017, so it is definitely has nothing to do with Ananya.
Come on, no one in the industry cares about the age gap BS.
It is just social media SJW bullshit.
Ananya is an adult now, as long as it is consensual and legal, why people have to act like mohallah ki aunties.
Whether Harsh or now Karthik haven't committed some crime by either saying or appearing with these girls.

I think he changed it to appear younger, but definitely not for Ananya as he did it way back than these Sara and Ananya nautanki.

Thanks for the articles guys.

It may not be for Ananya, but it definitely happened for a reason. I do not think Karthik wants to appear within the 1980 group of actors. I feel he wants to associate himself with the newer lot of actors/actresses coming in. It may be a PR move and not him per se. Regardless, I find it interesting how male actors are now resorting to these kind of things lol.
