Why did BW stop shooting in NY?

KJo directed a lot of his movies in New York but now it seems he has stopped shooting there and moved to European countries and London to a lesser extent? Is it expensive to shoot in NY?

None knows them there. They face lots of administrative issues and security check. SRK got detained and many others got detained too, Salman wasn't given visa. Other cities offer bw people money and sponsor movies to shoot in their cities to promote tourism like London. London offers so many advantage to KJo and is always ready to give permission to any location he chooses.

I heard Salman was rejected for UK visa too during Kick shooting. Yeah it's a hell to go through all the immigration in US if you're not a senior citizen.
