The ending was what i hoped for though a confrontation btwn shaan and jaan would have been nice but i guess the moms last wish had to be fulfilled. Jaan was selfish to do what he did especially on the wedding day but glad shan was shown to be understanding. Iram i hoped they had shown her reaction to the whole truth in the end.

Jaans ending didn't make sense to me as he kept begging for Maryam's forgiveness so God can forgive him. So for a person with faith suicide is not an option. If he wanted to burn in hell for eternity then why go the forgiveness route lol.
Anyways, him leaving to an unknown country after leaving a note would have been better option in my opinion.

why are they normalising suicide. every popular drama has atleast one suicidal person. that's not good in my opinion. since maryam got her happy ending, they could've shown shaan becoming a daee or opening an orphanage/charity and serving people. no doubt what he did was wrong, but there's always a right way to be repentant, instead of committing suicide..

Committing suicide is not an option after all forgiveness drama.

He leaving country could have make more sense.

However, I loved this drama specially for DT. He was amazing from the beginning.

I too am disappointed by the ending. it is abrupt. and it gave me a feeling that the writer was in love with Jaan , so he made all those wadas (promises) to get him out of a real confrontation, and to keep his image clean in front of his family. and what is the message? nothing.👎🏼

The mom was concerned about their ghar ki izzat, more than her son's peace of mind and lifting the burden off his conscience . If she helped him get free of his misery by facing the reality..he wouldn't committed suicide in the end. but this is another story which shows how ppl are afraid from ppl and not from Allah. Jaan deserved it !

I didn't expect to watch Shaan/Maryum romance in the end..but it was a pleasent surprise!

Danish did amazing job in this drama , and now I am his fan. Sanam C. too was at her best. and her chemistry with Danish was better than hers with Humayun A.

This is the shortest drama on Geo since a long time (24 epis) and the only one which made me want it to be longer. I loved it though it was very cliched, predictible, and full of ploobers. Like how did Jaan commit suicide and he stayed that clean. no damage in his head, and no blood! jaado!

Jaans death was not necessary..but on another note, he was afraid to be seen as guilty by his siblings.

Any time they can recognise his past crimes, he will lose that izzat n love of them.

Thats chose d easiest n foolish path.

Danish was outstanding in this drama. Sanam.c too😳

Exactly! Would have been a much better ending if he dedicated his life helping others, running an orphanage or shelter home for women like Maryam and noor us Saba. Even his sister was a victim. Why not end the drama on s positive note, why take the cowardly route of suicide.
Just so Jaan didn't get to see his love with his brother?
