i really don't like the large bindi on her and mohini...could've worn a smaller bindi...i have a lot of bengali friends and they don't wear such large bindis in really life for any traditional event unless absolutely necessary

I find their dress and makeup and jewelry a little over the top. I hope, I don't come across as culturally insensitive here because that's not my intention.

Can someone please explain to me why the women wear so much of everything, including the huge dots on their foreheads?
