Heartwrenching to see so much of hard work, talent and money going completelty waste due to the terrible and ridiculous storyline. Same with TOH.
It's about time people stop commending them for atleast 'trying out new VFX and technology'. For what? What's the use of the VFX when you can't even use it properly in your story that can connect with people? Same thing happened with Ra One as well.
Hate this herd mentality of Bollywood. A Vfx Intensive Baahubali worked because at the root of it, there was a story- a nostalgia attached to Amar Chitra Katha comics. Not all films can be Baahubali. Please pay attention to the script and THEN invest on the VFX. Otherwise everything just goes for a waste including the money. I mean yeah, it's his money, his wish and all that jazz but that same money is going to contribute in the downfall of the industry if it doesn't circulate properly.
Such wastage of hard work.
