Also about the naagmani, its supposed to make one immortal amd extremely rich according to previous seasons but no idea what its significance is for this season

It seems they are now adding Naagmani to everything without giving it a strong purpose and reason for its existence. Just because naagmani is a big part of naagin's mythology.
