The more successful a celebrity gets the more haters & troller's.

Anyway Raazi was a female centric performance oriented movie. The other performance which stood out was rani in hitchki. So any of these 2 winning this year would be fair.

IMO Alia did a better job in Raazi compared to the wooden role of Deepika in Padmavati for which she is hailed so much. Either did not deserve the award but the industry lacks good actresses and people only want their favorites to get an award and find them the only deserving ones so 😆

I have not watched Raazi but its a fact that Alia was shouldering the movie and its success should be credited to her. So its fair she won.

People bashing Deepika and saying she was wooden and prop in Padmavat are forgetting a fact that she is now immortalised as Padmavati. It will be her face that will come to people's minds when padmavati is remembered just like how she is the face that comes to mind when one think of mastani. Padmavat was an event movie which catapulted her into an iconic actress and someday she will be among the legends of this era. People might mock and undermine her but that does not mean its true.

Alia has a long way to go before she reaches that stage. She might have acting skills but lacks aura n x factor. Its like comparing raj kumar rao n srk.

Alia is the best actress from the current lot. Dont you know. Everyone testified this on the holly show Kaaffeee with karan. Deepika prays to lord everyday to be as talented as alia.

Frankly its only on this forum that one reads things about Alia being "average", "not good enough", "overhyped" etc etc..she has a strong fan following outside IF..

yes she got opportunities on a silver platter..but she made full use of it..and has worked hard to be where she is..

Having said that, from her recent IVs, success has finally gone to her head..and its in her interest to taste failures..to come back to ground..
