So Sonam posted a video of Dulqueer on the driver's seat checking his phone and his hands off the steering in a moving car and calling him a wierdo

To which Mumbai police responded,

When the matter was silly, she should not of tweeted police and wasted their time. On the top of it giving them gyaan to take care of "ordinary" citizens.

What does she think of herself?

I think Dulquer got dragged in for no reason cos as per his tweet, they were shooting (and he wasn't really driving) after getting all the required permissions. But Sonam had to be passive aggressive in her response. Good that she was put in place by the Mumbai police 😆

Although it would have been better if she just corrected them without adding any comment but I totally understand where she is coming from : this not the first time the Mumbai police calls out a celebrity on Twitter ( Varun) and it does feel like they want to use them as good publicity for themselves.

Oh look, we are doing our jobs so well that even celebrities get reprimanded whereas reality can be something else ...

Have they ever done this to non-celebrity people committing offences and exposing themselves on social media ?

I am just irritated with people who continuously keep typing on their phone and remain so engrossed that they don't bother where they are. One girl slipped from the escalator as she was typing on the phone and missed the step and yesterday a girl came before my rickshaw as she was so engrossed in her phone that she did not bother to see the traffic while crossing.
