In the precap shown he was in un-consious state and is held by the people who were there on the road .U can see the scene carefully when anurag comes out of the car and car blasts.

No.. in the segments if you look carefully u'll see people bringing out sid too.

It's Anu who goes back again but sid's already taken away by then.

It's really weird actually , your best friend is not there at your wedding rituals .
