It is hard to keep up the keto Diet if you are used to rice as a staple food (esp south Indians) + if you are a vegetarian.
It is a quick-fix method to lose weight and yes, it works, but you are practically cutting down an entire food group - once you go back to it, you gain back the weight quickly (very quickly!)Moreover, call it years of evolution due to eating chappati, rice etc, or whatever, I just feel Indian bodies aren't suited for such a drastic change of no carbs/full protein food.Having said that, it is easier to follow some components of this diet if you live in the west than India - both in terms of accessibility and affordability.Personally, I feel the best way to go about food and health is - just have everything in moderation and go for walks everyday. Go for diets, when you feel like you have occasionally slipped up , put on weight and want to get back on track or want to lose it quickly in time for an event like a wedding.
