Bepannaah was meant to fail. Not just because of the obvious factors like the writers copying other shows and even entire dialogues😆 (*cough* Ishqbaaz *cough*) The lack of creativity here is one factor the lack of chemistry between the two leads in a whole other story.
Say what you want while Jennifer and Harshad individually are both fantastic actors together they make a less than stellar team. They seem a bit stiff and dry.

Now let us move on to the "TRP aunties" whom we all love to blame for the fall of the TRPs about how they oh so don't appreciate good shows. While in some cases that may be the case it doesn't seem to be their fault here. It's clear the show didn't and wouldn't appeal to them. The writers did not do a good job in covering older age groups who have been the traditional audience of televised shows way longer than the younger ones. No real effort was made to appeal to their interest too. The entertainment element failed for these so-called TRP aunties. Making the ratings fall.

Back to the Characters oh the characters.🤣 The leads were ridiculous, a childish man in his 30s and an overly clueless woman who lived under a rock and couldn't seem to understand basic live struggles, and the emotions her husband was facing. Of course, as expected these two become absolute perfect beings when they get together because that's how personal growth works. Past behavior is the best indication of future behavior. Very little struggles were shown with the past behavior once they went down the perfection route. The characters are what, I, my friends like to call the ultimate "Mary Sue and "Gary Sue." There was very little relatability in this factor. Zoya went from someone who has little ability to understand or empathize with her former husband to being some super understanding loving Devi with Aditya. Excuse me but what the actual ______? (I can leave that last word to your imagination) and I won't even begin to get started on Aditya because otherwise, we'd be here all day.

To make things more laughable (as if they weren't already) this lead was being compared to some of the older epic couples claiming these two were somehow better. Where? Exactly where did you see this? These two didn't grow like one would expect, no they just became perfect because that's how the real world works folks. That's how any dynamic of a couple works apparently (please read the intended sarcasm). Sure one could argue that this isn't real life its reel life. True, but this show has crossed a new line of stupidity and is being praised for said stupidity. Until the next time, I sign off my very overly dramatic post,

EDIT: So there's someone clearly in the comments (not going to mention who it's easy to see who) that I think people may assume is my alternative account (I saw a comment stating something like that- not sure if they were speaking about me though entirely). I don't have one this is the only one I've had since 2014. Feel free to report it if you wish but trust and believe they will not find it to be me. Just wanted to get that out of the way before it gives me a headache.

Yeah you are right. Should have watched a show here a so called billionaire forcefully marries a dumb girl, calls her a wh**e and she being the clever one goes back to the guy who humiliated her to no end.
A show where they actually have a real story and actual chemistry and respect between leads is not our cup of tea.

And here comes another Ishqbaaz fan to bash BP. Lent your IB leap frustration on IB forum please. You may find support there.
As if IB was epitome of logic & rational with plethora of villains, bomb blasts, mirror breaking & OTT filter effects on a single scene, fancy dress competition on a daily basis & a guy who married the lead on rape threat in the first time. And a painter who had no interest in business & was supposed to be different became a cruel, shrewd man.

Stole dialogues from IB. WOW. Earth is flat then. Comparing a show of <6 IMDB rating with one that has rating of 8+. Ohh Myy Godd (Janice wala)

All Indian supernatural shows can beat GOT together in their dreams.

Zoya and Aditya are anything BUT Mary/Gary Sues. Mary Sues are perfection to the point of annoyance. AdiYa were deeply flawed characters. As you state- immature and living in their own world respectively.

As for them changing their behavior, it's called character growth. A tragedy happens which shake them out of their bubble and make them face the harsh realities. It makes sense story-wise and character-development wise.

They realize where/what aspect they were missing and in their next relationship, they tend to learn from it/not repeat it. As far as ITV shows are concerned, these characters actually have depth and multi-dimensions. They differ from the plethora of ITV MLs and FLs who all follow very 1 dimensional arc.

I am actually wondering when Aditya & Zoya were perfect. Because they were always flawed with scope of character development & they did grow over time on an individual level.

But IB walon ko na dikhega ye sab. Anika was better when she came with that Choti stuck to the back of hair in a very weird way. & Large size mirror were breaking inside the house. And the supposed richest family of the city, never shown to be at work. Kitni baar is show me murder attempts hue hn, me count bhul gayi. Even Ambanis don't dress like IB stars, the richest people of the country. Villains ki to bat krna bekar hai.

Atleast yahan pr bnda Pilot to dikhaya tha jisne logically break liya. And woman came forward to handle her husband's business with the help of her in-laws & parents, which often happens in reality, when spouses die.

No offence to your opinions cos we all have freedom of speech etc. But on a serious note this post is now irrelevant, the show is ending and your opinions mean nothing to no one. Had you done this at its peak time i'm sure someone would've given it a second thought or not.

You can categorise me in the older generation of ITV serial follower, but I can vouch this show was near perfect. I've never watched Ishqbaaz and don't intend to start now.

You're clearly a young un, so stick to content made for your age group. In your shoes i'd steer clear from this show cos you clearly won't get it, its mature content with deep meaning.

Happy Ishqbaaz-ing. Ta ta!

You are right buddy, first of all I went through a lot of shit tracks, and stopped around the Arshad track.

There were too many similarities "raita phail gaya --- repeatedly", FL in the tank scene, "faraq padta hai" all around copy of IB. There were other scenarios but don't want to waste my time mentioning.

They copied ISA jail scene.

Second of all the characters were ill written, Zoya thought that a cheating spouse had a paaq rishta and love for the cheating spouse of Aditya.

I was really ticked off at the cricket track, and the over the top childishness of Aditya and the dumbness of Zoya. I am Harshad fan, but I just didn't like the chemistry of the lead pair. I never wrote on this forum because people have such a bad attitude, "they can dance around the couples nowadays" etc. They aren't that great of a couple, moreover people here talk about sex appeal (good looks, is that necessary for someone to fall in love???? More like superficial attraction.)

Also the horror genre shouldn't be bashed, the actors working in successful shows deserve it. The Bhagya's are annoying to me, but that doesn't mean that I bash the storyline, the viewers or the actors. These people see some invisible chemistry that I just can't see between the leads.

All the tracks were elongated and stretched to the point I couldn't stand watching this show for another minute. People on this forum are quick to judge other shows without even watching them. This show never had potential -- it might have from the initial promos and music, but it quickly faded out with blatant copying of other shows, plagiarism, couldn't connect. You are right there was a lack of creativity.

Aditya was the most annoying character, which man in their 30s with a developed brain couldn't see what their wife wanted?

Zoya was unrealistic, how can a wife not see the struggle of their husband?

Pooja-Yash were stupid, who cheats without trying to explain to their spouses what they are looking for, the reason they cheated was utter nonsense.

Noor was so over-the-top. I can't.

The only well written character to me was Arjun, but due to the sappy weird out of nowhere romance with Noor, it just became dull.

They have made a mockery of basic human emotions, basic human instincts (spouses usually know when something is wrong), basic human communication (none of the spouses had this, neither did Aditya-Zoya when they got married), they made a mockery out of the process of love, they made a mockery of everything.

I could never see in this show what others saw, I tried to stick to it and tried to see something (what the hundreds of others were thinking) but I couldn't.

Anyway thanks for making a realistic post in the middle of random fangirls that are ruining their health over a show that didn't even have anything in it!

You made a fake ID just to criticise the show 😲 too many jobless people around 😆
