The Presence of a Good Person...

They say that Good people have aura of Positivity about them, that draws people towards them and their mere presence helps you in difficult times of life in someway or other. Their goodness and positive energy has an immense power of it's own, that unknown to themselves and the one's around them, will feel drawn, happy and secure, and probably content too, in their very presence.

This is a thing we all can feel. Even from strangers.

Mahir is the epitome of one such energy. The writers and dialogue writers have a done fantastic job of summing it up through Bela yesterday,

"After I married you, all those people dear to me, that I've thought I lost are coming back to me".

" Whenever you are with me I feel Strengthened, it feels you'll make everything alright".

^ That's just Bela unknowingly re-iterating the power of goodness and positivity. It's not just Mahir, anyone THAT good would make you feel that way.

Every time Bela is in trouble, he appears and as soon as he appears her troubles starts dispersing. I am not taking anything away from Bela's own efforts, but his presence aids her in difficult times.

It's not just Bela, he even helped Nmom and Juhi, in a way. And since we don't know much of his life in detail before Bela, the countless other lives he must've touched in his own way, helping without even knowing that he is helping. Wish they show something of it?!

They've done a fantastic job of highlighting the power of goodness. In such a way, that we now know Mahir doesn't need any powers to protect himself or Bela or anyone. Help would come to him, just like how he helps. He found strength to beat up Arvind, he surely can tackle Vyom n Vik too... it's baffling but it's true. Because his intentions to be as good as possible, his intention to never harm anyone(this quality is priceless), his intention to stand by right no matter what, is his driving force and unknown energy in him.

In Harry Potter, Dumbledore puts down Lily saving Harry from Voldemort as purely the 'power of love' , it might sound tad too simplistic even juvenile and over dramatic but that unknown force that protected couldn't be explained in any other way than sheer love and goodness of Lily and her intention to protect him, no matter what.

It's a David and Goliath thing, it's the intention, the will power that matters above all else and if it is coming from a place of well-meaning, philanthropic desire then there is no stopping it, it has a power of it's own - indescribable but easily felt.

I agree with every single word in this post.
However overused and cliched this may sound, it is biggest truth of the universe that good things come to good people.
Mahirji is a ball of pure light and is wrapped up in positive aura thick as a blanket, naturally he gets attracted to similar energies.
His arrival in belas life especially when she was in her lowest, she had hit rock bottom, paved ways for a better way of life. Again no credit to be substracted from belas morals and her choices but yes, mahirji and his direct involvement in her life has reinforced everything that was already present.
When two such energies join hands, the positive influence is gong to be synergistic. They are going to get aid at every possible nook and cranny from the universes itself, it's bound to happen.

This behir bond is a dual edged sword.

Mahirji is also facing changes and seeing different faces of people after belas entry into his life.
When he mentioned how everyone was okay with him before bela and how that has drastically changed post marriage was a prelude, to the apocalyptic exposure of sumi.
Maybe bela doesn't have a direct positive effect and affect on mahirji s life but indirectly her presence and her involvement in his life is paving a way for betterment only.
The medicines may be bitter but eventually it's for your own good.

@Bold: Ain't it?

You summed it up with Dharmo rakshati... aptly! It's good to see Good winning over Evil here time and again, and that too before it's too late. Warna, usually in most shows u end up feeling, what is the point of good happening now? And at what cost? Glad that for them these troubles are serving as stteping stones to a successful relationship and moulding them into even better human beings!

@Blue:

This is a very interesting area... When you talk of what is happening other way around. We feel Mahir's life getting more n more messed up after marriage... But he has all along been living in an illusion of safety. He doesn't know what harm his brothers caused, he doesn't know the presence of supernatural being in his life even before Bela's entry and above all his own shortcomings - Remember Adi said Mahir sees everything Black & White? And months down the line we have same Mahir telling Yuvi not all is B&W and there is grey to look at to? And he kinda slowed down in jumping to conclusions and making hasty decisions... Which wasn't the case earlier - Rehaan, pregnancy etc... Little but significant changes happening in a good way. And funnily enough, the ever protective, pillar of the family, "I'll handle everything" Mahirji might need protection every now & then himself, which he is getting too. 😆

If bela stands in front of mirror of erised. She will get the clarity she seeks. It will show her the deepest and most desperate desires of her heart.
She will see her happy family with mahirji.

It is not our abilities that truly define who we are. It is the choices that we make.

Help would be provided to those who deserve it.

From A beautiful mind:

What is logic, Who defines reason. My search has taken me through physical, meta physical, delusonal world and back. Only in complex equations of love does any logic and reason exists.

This is such a sad and happy thing at the same time! Though might I add, she would see that scene in her naaglok, she is very fond of her roots and respects her duty.

@last quote: Deciphering that would give me sleepless nights and I might become what John Nash eventually became... That's a looot of brain work involving quote.

Thanks for the beautiful quotes!
