Why is this douche suddenly so worried about Mishti. I mean what changed except for the fact that he came to know that he donated an X chromosome through his sperm to Mauli.
Mishti already has a complete family, she has a mother & she has a father. Hell, she knows Ishaan as her father, so she doesn't even miss her so called biological father.

As for Kunal, he already has a daughter. It's not like he is childless and yearns for a child. He has a daughter with his divine lover who loves him so much & I would like to agree that he loves her too.

So, Mishti isn't fatherless & Kunal isn't childless. So, he going all mad about hiding about Mishti & scream on the top of his voice about how he has been wronged by everyone & play the f**king victim card makes no sense except prove that he is indeed a narcissist person of the highest order who loves to gaslight other so that he can feel better.

It would have made some sense if Mauli had a boy & Kunal was yearning for a male child OR if Kunal was childless & yearned to have a child.

He doesn't love Mauli, doesn't even desire to be with her as of the moment & can clearly see that Mauli has been moving on with Ishaan. So, what's the desperation in him to want to be called a father by Mishti or cry about Whose daughter is Mishti & I miss her so much. He has Pari to do that. Leave the child alone. Mishti hasn't been deprived of anything if that''s what you worry about. Child is happy in her world & life. So, for the sake of child, stop poking your nose & ruin the things as they are.

Suddenly, Nandini looks like a person he would have gotten over if Mauli had confirmed about Mishti. Aadmi Hai ki Payjama. Pendulum kahin ka.

Kunal loves to complicate things & make everyone's life a hell. First he did that with Mauli, now he will do that with Pari-Mishti as well. He want to make things complicated for the children at that age, when as a father he should be protecting them from being revealed to such harsh, ugly truths.

And then what's the point of Kunal fighting a custody battle. Mauli brought it up because she feels insecure. Least Kunal do is assure her that I don't want that & you can stay happy with Mishti in your new life. Even bring Ishaan into it since he is marrying her now.

It's pretty unbelievable how terribly written Kunal's character is...it's like, just when you think it can't get anymore worse - he does something else to confirm how horrible of a person he is

This story needs no villian when the male lead himself is his own worst enemy, and the worst enemy of every single person he encounters or meets.

If they had tried to redeem his character even a teeny tiny bit, they would have had him have some realization track, and let Mishti continue living her happy life with Mauli and Ishaan.

But Kunal is selfish ... incredibly selfish and only care about himself. His feelings, his rights, his anger - no one else even matters to him.

well we could say fatherly love has waken up in him...selfish love...well it happens in real life where mothers or fathers doesn't want a baby but due to family pressure they keep it but once the baby is in their arms...their perspective totally changed...well based on perspnal experience with my cousin..i can understand kunal for once...that he wants to hug his baby girl..but blaming mauli...he should rot in hell

Your first line itself has answer to your question - because he's a douche. 😆
