Geet grinned seeing Meera twirl excitedly in her gown, she'd chosen a Carolina Herrera white wedding gown for her best friend, it was lace and mermaid tail dress just as Meera always described.

"Oh I think I'm going to cry Meera covered her mouth facing Geet, a large grin on her face. "I can't believe you've got me a Carolina Herrera wedding dress she murmured brushing her hand over her dress once again.

"You look absolutely stunning Meers Geet smiled hugging her tightly.

"God it's still so unbelievable I'm married she giggled looking down at her dress. "And I'm stood in a Carolina Herrera wedding dress

"You deserve it Geet kissed her cheek. "Anyways now that you're ready, I should go and get ready as well she pulled away, her eyes drawn to Vikrant coming out of the walk in closet. Geet whistled teasingly.

"Bhabhi... Vikrant laughed coming to stand in front of the mirror. "So how do I look? he asked turning to face her.

"You look handsome Geet smiled. "I'm glad he'd chosen this grey colour tux, it suits and matches slightly to Meer's gown

"How do we look? Vikrant slipped his arm around Meera's waist grinning widely.

"Both of you look stunning, now I've got to go and get ready she excused herself hurrying down the stairs and out the outhouse heading back towards the mansion which was hustling and bustling with everyone talking over each other and running around getting ready.

"It's so crazy downstairs... Geet started as she entered the room, her eyes lit up as she saw her husband all dressed in a navy pin stripe Tom Ford tuxedo.

Maan glanced over his shoulder expecting Geet to continue and noticed she was stood near the door staring at him in admiration, her mouth slightly open.

He slowly moved towards her, she snapped out of her thoughts blushing having gotten caught staring at him almost mouth opened.

"Aap...What are you doing? she questioned taking a step back.

Maan smiled coming to a stop in front of her. "What do you think? he questioned tiling her chin up, Geet bit her cheek, her eyes connecting with his then drawing down to his lips.

She blushed when Maan smirked, and tiptoed pressing a quick kiss to his lips and moved away swiftly. Maan closed his eyes smiling faintly in amusement and glanced over his shoulder, Geet had skipped into the walk in closet closing the door behind her.

"Geet why do you bother hiding in the closet and change? he questioned as he continued to get ready.

"Aapko kya... she called back.

"You do realise he paused as he closed their bedroom door and locked it. "that I've seen you naked he continued.

"Maan... Geet blushed even though he isn't able to see her, but she could almost see the vivid image of her husband smirking at her teasingly and eyeing her as if she were dessert.

"Yes Geet he answered leaning against the wall near the closet. "Remember to wear the dress I'd picked out yesterday, not the saree he reminded.

"I thought you liked it when I wear saree she responded picking out the dress he'd chosen, it was simple yet so elegantly stunning completely unaware that the dress her husband had chosen was one of the world's famous designer's dress. Amanda Wakeley.

The dress was a Grecian style off white long gown, a diamond studded belt curled around the middle and her halter neck strap was also studded with diamonds.

"This is such a stupid dress Geet called out. "I can't wear my bra with it and what will everyone think...

"It's called backless dress for a reason Geet Maan rolled his eyes. "Wear it and stop complaining he stated. "And stop worrying about everyone downstairs he huffed.

"We'll see who'll be complaining... she murmured as she finished and walked out.

f**k me Maan thought as he took in his wife, she looked absolutely riveting, the dress accentuated her figure in all the right places.

Geet smiled and turned around for him and noticed he was frowning. "Kya hua?

"You are wearing... he gestured rather than finishing off his sentence seeing her blush furiously.

"I can't because the outline will show she replied.

"Actually you can go wear that saree Maan told her.

"Kyun? she frowned. "I'm not changing again and it's grown on me she replied going to her dresser and slipping on her earrings she'd taken off last night.

"There's only so much I can control Geet Maan spoke coming up behind her and sliding his arm around her, his chin resting on her shoulder. "And I do not want to embarrass myself in my own brother's reception

Geet swallowed thickly arching her back realising what he meant, Maan tightened his arms around her when she leaned back brushing herself against him.

"Don't... he hissed.

Her cheeks heated and reddened, he pulled back moving away a few steps.

"Why the f**k had I chosen this dress? he brushed a hand through his hair.

"Because I've come to like it... Geet spoke once she gathered herself. "It's simple and beautiful though stupid because I can't wear anything underneath...

"Don't say that and remind me Maan shook his head stepping out on to the balcony.

Geet smiled inwardly and continued with her task of wearing her jewellery, all of which were taken off last night and were gifts from her husband.

She swirled her long hair in a side bun knowing keeping her hair down with this dress isn't an option, she clipped the bun into place and tugged a few curls to her side framing her face.

After she finished, she glanced over at Maan who still stood out on their balcony.

"I'm finished she informed stepping onto the balcony and offered him a smile when he turned around looking at her.

"I regret buying the dress he rested his hands on her waist pulling her close.

"Why?

"Because you look stunning and I want to show you how much but I can't he winked.

Geet giggled pressing her face into the hollow of his neck hugging him tightly.

"We could give the reception a miss he suggested jokingly.

"Maan... Geet pulled back chuckling. "No we can't now come on, they're waiting. Car is already here she informed pulling his hand.

"You go on ahead, I'll be down in two minutes he responded.

"Kyun ab kya hai? she looked confused.

"Really Geet? Pressing against me like that and you expect me to walk straight downstairs...

Geet nudged him shaking her head and walked out leaving him alone for a few minutes.

"Hey bhabhi Araina grinned as she walked in alongside Karan and her mother. "Wow I love your dress she smiled, paused as she stared at the dress then realisation dawned as she'd seen the dress in a fashion magazine.

"Araina... Geet looked at her confused waving her hand in front of her sister in law.

"Have you gone to sleep? Karan shook her snapping her out of her state.

"Oh my gosh... Araina gasped.

"What? What's wrong? Geet looked at her alarmed.

"That's a...

"Amanda Wakeley off white evening dress Krystal finished walking over and perusing Geet.

Geet looked down at her dress. "It's a what dress? she looked between them confused.

"How can you not know Amanda Wakeley? She's one of the top wedding dress designers Araina responded surprised.

"I don't know anything Geet shrugged. "I love your dress she grinned loving the one shoulder dress that Araina had donned on.

"Karan bhai treated me Araina grinned.

"More like you blackmailed and made me buy you it Karan corrected. "It's an ugly dress

"It's a Carolina Herrera dress Krystal informed.

"Meera's wearing a Carolina Herrera gown as well, except hers is a wedding gown and is so beautiful Geet replied. "Speaking of... she smiled as Meera and Vikrant came into the mansion together. Dadima walked over blessing them both, everyone gathered round, Krystal and Araina gushing over Meera's dress. Maan also joined a few minutes later.

It wasn't long till Amelia turned up with Puja and Arav alongside her followed by Ranbir and a couple more of Vikrant's friends.

Geet grinned widely seeing her mother and her aunt walk and hugged them both quickly. Rano did look a little surprised seeing her daughter in the dress. "Koi toh... she wanted to ask whether anyone will be saying anything to her concerned.

"Nahi mama... woh... Maan ne... yeh mere liye khareeda she blushed smiling shyly.

Rano sighed in relief and smiled brightly.

"Geet bete, is everyone ready now? Dadima approached glancing around and exchanged pleasantries with Geet's mother and aunt.

"They seem to be Geet replied. "I'll just make sure all the cars are here she informed walking away and looked around. "Arav... she called gesturing him to come over.

"Why are you calling him? Maan asked having heard her calling the guy over.

"Aap... she didn't finish because Arav came over just at that moment.

"Yes mi lady? he grinned widely.

"Arav... Geet chuckled shyly. "Are the cars ready? she asked.

"Driver also he winked jokingly holding out his arm.

"Done flirting with my wife? Maan intervened. "She asked you something

"Maan Geet whispered frowning at her husband.

Arav cleared his throat. "Yeah, sorry the cars are ready he replied.

"Thanks Arav, best to start telling everyone to make their way to the cars she responded.

"Yeah, sure he nodded and leaned forward. "I feel for you, let me know when you want to run away with me he whispered softly making Geet laugh.

Arav escaped when he saw Maan glaring.

"What did he say? he questioned Geet as she walked back towards dadima.

"Nothing she shook her head. "Just a joke

Maan shook his head glancing around and narrowed his eyes as he watched Arav instructing everyone to start making their way outside where the cars were.

"Reporters are outside the gate Karan walked back inside to inform the others who were slowly walking towards the car.

Geet stiffened, Maan cursed.

"Right you lot keep going ahead. Security are outside aren't they?

"Yeah, they're holding the reporters back from going too near to the cars Karan replied.

"Alright, everyone keep going Maan spoke. "Dadima, you come into our car. Vikrant and Meera can go ahead with her parents he turned to Karan. "You take Geet's mom and her aunt in yours with Araina and Anisha aunty

"Yeh sab toh teek hai...par Amelia, Puja... she looked concerned.

"Romeo can you drive? Maan asked.

"Ranbir he corrected and nodded his head when he saw Maan glare.

"You take them with you he stated.

"Ji... Ranbir nodded.

"I should be really going with you Amelia muttered looking at Karan.

"Yeah, whatever he chuckled.

"Karan... she frowned. "By the way you've not said anything how I look?

"How do you look? he asked arching his brows.

"You... she scowled.

Karan leaned down discreetly as he inched behind her. "You look beautiful

Amelia grinned widely turning around and saw he was walking out the door. "He's such an ass she murmured.

"C'mon Krystal nudged her. "Where are you lost?

"Nowhere... Amelia huffed and walked out and climbed into the car Ranbir was driving.

Maan settled in the back of the car beside Geet whilst dadima took the passenger seat, he would've driven to the reception but seeing Geet all tensed he opted to sit rather than drive.

"You okay? he asked gently taking her hand into his once they settled inside.

Geet glanced around hesitantly and turned to him. "I... I don't know

"The driver will pass them quickly he assured as the driver started down the driveway.

"Look here... Maan spoke softly, "ignore them

"How? she whispered. "They're... she paused hearing the flashes of their cameras as they passed, she was just pleased that the windows were tinted.

"Geet bete aap teek hai? dadima glanced over.

She nodded silently gathering herself together, she thought about what Dr Nikita spoke about and wondered what does she do? Avoid them which is going to be impossible or ignore them? She certainly wasn't going to indulge them.

Geet sighed heavily inching closer to Maan and leaned back against him as he placed his hand over her shoulder holding her gently.

"They're all irrelevant Maan whispered.

She nodded and turned her head looking at him. "I hate them all

"I do too he smiled inwardly.

"Do you want to go back home? We can stay in our room she mumbled.

"Not a great time for jokes Geet Maan shook his head.

"Sorry I didn't mean to make it hard for you

"Geet, shut up Maan scowled.

She bit down on her lip giggling, she looked away feeling like she'd burst out laughing here and dadima would surely want to know what they were talking about.

"What the? Maan straightened as the driver slowly stopped and noticed there were a lot of reporters, he hadn't expected this vast amount of reporters and cameramen.

Geet leaned up glancing around. "What's with so many of them?

"What are they even doing here? There isn't another party or something in the hall is there? Maan asked Geet as she'd booked the hall.

"No, it's just our reception party she responded. "And it's only friends and family who didn't go to wedding that are attending she added.

"We'll just have to walk in quickly Maan informed.

Geet nodded, Maan stepped out helping dadima out the car first then opened the back door holding his hand for Geet.

Geet shared a look with him and slowly climbed out of the car.

"Just keep a straight face and walk Maan told her softly as he placed his hand at the small of her back leading her and dadima towards the entrance.

"Mr Khurana please look here Many of them shouted out trying to gain his attention.

"Mrs Khurana A few yelled out.

"Is there anything you'd like to say to your brother and new sister in law?

"Mr Khurana...

"Mrs Devi...

They ignored the calls and walked into the venue, Geet sighed heavily closing her eyes once they were inside and the shouts of the reporters had quietened down.

She gathered herself and looked around for Meera and Vikrant and smiled softly when she found them stood at the side waiting for further instructions seeing as the hall wasn't open just yet.

"Meers, Vikrant Geet approached them smiling.

"Why is everyone waiting out here bhabhi? Vikrant asked curiously.

"Because you're both going in first and seeing the reception she responded and looked around for Puja.

"Puja she called and continued when Puja approached her. "Let the manager know to get drinks and appetizers out

"Alright, excited? she asked Vikrant and Meera.

"Yeah, wonder what bhabhi planned now Vikrant laughed.

"Come on Geet smiled gesturing them to the hall she'd booked for the entire night. "Open it she told Vikrant and Meera.

They looked at each other curiously and opened it slowly.

"Holy... Vikrant stared around stunned.

"Wow... it's just so... Meera murmured feeling completely speechless.

Vikrant turned around and hugged Geet tightly. "I can't believe you've done all this... It's... It's so... magnificent he pulled back.

"Are you starting to cry? Geet chuckled noticing his eyes slightly shining.

"Bhabhi... he mockingly scowled and looked around in awe.

"Congratulations

Vikrant and Meera turned and stiffened.

"Is that... Vikrant swallowed.

"Hi... Maggie Eckford waved smiling.

"I think we've given him a heart attack Gavin DeGraw laughed.

"Please tell me I'm not dreaming Vikrant murmured.

"You're not dreaming, your favourite musicians are here Geet smiled.

Vikrant excitedly shook their hands and couldn't stop grinning, even when they'd gone backstage to get ready for the songs they were going to sing he couldn't hold his excitement and happiness back.

After Vikrant and Meera had gone around the hall and loving the set up, Geet informed Puja to invite everyone into the hall.

"What the... Karan frowned down at Amelia as she took his phone and slipped it into his back pocket of his pants and held his hand.

"Amelia what are you doing? he scowled.

"You're going to dance with me she told him pulling him to the dance floor.

"What makes you think I'm going to dance? he arched his brows. "Because I asked you to dance last time, I'm not dancing this time with you he muttered.

Amelia ignored him, taking his hand placing it on her hips and swung her arms around his neck. "You better start moving those hips boyfriend

"Or what?

"Would you like to me to announce that you've just proposed to me? she inched forward smirking.

"You're crazy he pressed his fingers into her waist, she smiled widely going on her tiptoes and pressing a kiss to his nose.

"You like me like that boyfriend she chuckled.

Karan shook his head and smiled inwardly as he held her close and danced.

"Where are you taking me for our date? Amelia questioned after a moment.

"What makes you think you're getting a date? he responded.

"You're taking me on a date, I expect it to be out of this world she informed.

"Alright, I'll book you a rocket and shoot you off to the moon so it'd be out of this world he teased.

"Don't be a jackass... she scowled. "I mean it, our date better be good if you want me to like you

"You like me he stated.

"No, I don't like you. You like me, you're going to have to make me like you again

"I can't believe I do he murmured...

"So they're the reason we've got so many reporters outside Maan muttered as he watched the musicians perform on Vikrant's favourite songs.

Geet smiled shrugging. "I'm just glad he loved it all she smiled watching Vikrant dance with Meera on the dance floor, everyone's eyes were on them both.

"Karan and Amelia look cosy don't they? Geet pointed.

"And he said he doesn't feel anything Maan chuckled.

"By the way Geet looked up at Maan. "You've not asked me for a dance yet

"You expect me to dance? he questioned. "With you looking like this?

"Why? You were alright all evening

"Geet I was behind you hiding your back he whispered.

"Oh my... is that you've been stood behind me all evening? she gaped at him.

"Why else? I've noticed some of them looking at you he responded.

"Aap pagal hai... she mumbled.

"You're not noticing how some of them are looking... he replied.

Geet smiled and turned around facing him, her back now to the others.

"Geet... Maan warned.

"Dance with me? she slipped her arms around his waist.

Maan glowered noticing his one of his distant relatives staring over at them.

Geet looked curiously over her shoulder wondering who he was glaring at but no one was staring here, everyone seemed to be watching the musicians.

"Please... she pouted her lips.

"Only if you agree to wear my jacket he replied.

"Aap na... she chuckled as he shucked off his navy jacket. Geet slipped her arms through and giggled. "It's so big...

"Now we can dance Maan smiled leading her to the dance floor...

"Oh my God Amelia gasped tilting her head up and stared.

"What?

"Look Ellie Goulding she pointed.

Everyone seemed to slowly notice who'd now taken the stage and clapped and cheered.

"This song is dedicated to the lovely newlyweds Ellie announced, the music started and she started singing love me like you do

"How the hell did she manage to book Ellie? Amelia muttered. "I better have her for ours she demanded.

"And what makes you think we're going to be getting married? Karan responded.

"You're marrying me Khurana, whether you like it or not she winked tightening her arms around his neck. "We're going to have a beach wedding with just close friends and family because you don't like crowded places much...

"Really? You've got me figured out? he asked.

"Mmhmm she nodded smiling widely. "We're going to have a white wedding because you don't believe in the rituals and pheras an all

"But you do he pointed out.

She smiled feeling so pleased that he'd at known something about her. "We could explore the options about the ceremony...I want a white gown though. I am not going to wear those traditional crappy lenghas where it weighs me down

Karan stared at Amelia thoughtfully for a moment, he brushed his fingers across her cheek and lowered his head pressing a gentle kiss to her lips.

Amelia smiled and responded leaning up on her toes.

Araina whistled at her brother making them pull away, Karan glanced over and scowled seeing Araina dancing with Ranbir.

"I think he wants me to let you go Ranbir whispered.

"Ignore him Araina laughed and turned to Ranbir. "He's just being a knob

Ranbir glanced up and averted his eyes when Karan continued to glower.

"Stop being a hypocrite Amelia tapped Karan's cheek. "You're here dancing and kissing me and she's only dancing...

"I don't care, he's not good enough for her

"And who is good enough for her? Amelia asked.

"No one Karan replied.

"Typical man... Amelia rolled her eyes.

"Geet bete are you cold? Dadima questioned as Geet came and sat down grabbing herself a soft drink.

Geet looked down at Maan's jacket she'd worn then looked up. "Uh...I...

"It's really hot in here Dadima informed. "And you're wearing a jacket...

"Haan woh... she wondered what excuse she could give seeing as dadima was right, it was freaking boiling that's why she'd helped herself to a cold drink.

"Bete... Dadima touched her knee gently staring curiously.

"Maan ne mujhe kahan I have to wear this she blurted.

"Lekin kyun... Dadima paused and realised, she started laughing.

"Dadima... Geet whined blushing furiously.

"Teek hai, teek hai dadima chuckled. "I won't tease you she took Geet's hand in hers. "I'm so proud of you bete... what you did for Vikrant's wedding and... all of this she gestured with a wave around the venue. "You've taken off a burden from my shoulders and... dadima cradled Geet's cheek unable to find words to praise her enough.

Geet smiled and wrapped both her arms around dadima by the side and kissed her cheek.

Maan watched from where he stood admiring Geet and dadima as they spoke to each other and shared small jokes between them, he couldn't have been even more happy. He loved that dadima loved Geet immensely almost as if she were a daughter of their house not a daughter in law. The mutual love and respect Geet and dadima have for each other is something he's always loved, even when Geet and him hadn't come together, he'd noticed the love and respect dadima and Geet shared. Their relationship was much deeper and filled with pure love of a daughter and a mother's.

He walked over joining their side and regretted it instantly when dadima teased him regarding Geet wearing his jacket...

This is my last chapter for a while, the festive holidays are coming up and I'm going to held up for a number of weeks. The only place I'm currently going to continue posting is going to be my blog and that is only as and when I can.

I may or may not be active in other forums as well... Still to see...
