OK so came back just now after watching the movie...After FAN this is the second movie that I have seen being killed because of negative WOM...The movie is not even bad...infact I was entertained and not bored even for one minute...the only disappointment for me was that they totally totally wasted Katrina in this movie...stupid choreography destroyed both the dance numbers...but she looked so stunning...especially her entry scene was the best and the most gorgeous ever...her Hindi/Urdu has improved so much...who would have thought she would be speaking all those difficult Urdu shers and dialogues so smoothly..

For me the movie was total paisa vasool because of Aamir and God's(AB Sr is the God of acting) together...so so good...Acting wise they both didn't disappoint me one bit...Aamir's role was so layered and very difficult...to change from a donkey riding comedian to a cunning thug to a patriot all in a minute or two...was just mindblowing..it was like someone was turning on the buttons and changing the expressions on Aamir's face...

Fatima was also good...thank God there were no romantic scenes between her and Aamir...it would have been so awkward seeing them after Dangal...I was saying this again and again..that these is the reason YRF was floating those rumors about Aamir/Fatima...atleast that changed the equation a little bit in the public's eye otherwise it would have been very odd..

The dialogues were very funny...we laughed so much..

VFX was OK..could have been better...

The problem was that while thsi movie kept me entertained while I was watching it...it didn't have the impact that Aamir's movies have ...movies like Dangal,PK, stayed with me for a long time...but TOH was like...it was very entertaing while I watched it...but nothing after that...maybe this is the reason people who are used to Amir's movie being much more then entertainment were disappointed..

A better director could have done wonders..

I give it 3.5 stars...It is a good one time watch.👍🏼

Aamir has very beautiful eyes...there is something very sexy about men with kohl lined eyes...first Shahrukh in Raees and now Aamir in TOH.

So much is a question of perception when it comes to art.

I agree with a one-time watch but I also agree with so much that could have been made better...and I'm not this sure if that is only the director's fault.

I got the feeling that he really wanted to make a funny movie with a strong 'parental' relation between Amitji and the girl and a slight parody of pirate movies, filmi heroes and objectified item girls.

Well, the outcome might not correspond to the initial vision which is frustrating to me (I am sure Katrina had a more meaty - and funny - role at the beginning) and that ther was a slight romance conceptualized between Aamir and the girl).

People come to defend shitty films like this calling it a one time watch and entertaining, saying the audience has been too hard on it. I call this BS.

People need to get over huge stars factor. If they are hiking tickets price like crazy, taking up all the slots of Diwali, then they better deliver something more than one time watch.

and I call ur practice of calling other's opinion as BS ...the bigger BS...learn to respect the opinions of others...🥱...its fine if u don't agree with it...learn to disagree in a civil manner..

and regarding hiking the ticket price...so dude ...use common sense...only those people will hike ticket price who know that people will watch their movies despite hiking the ticket price...its all about the brand...a movie is a commercial product...and if someone can sell it at a higher price to a willing buyer then they will be a fool of nth degree if they don't hike the price.

People trolling Aamir Khan... have a heart man! That man singlehandedly improved the quality of our cinema. Made brave decisions and put his own money to pave new paths. Even he is allowed one flop a decade. We should be collectively supporting him. Not pulling him down.
