After garnering critical acclaim for her performance in the hit 'Bareilly Ki Barfi', Kriti Sanon is busy gearing up for her upcoming films, including 'Housefull 4', 'Luka Chuppi', 'Arjun Patiala' and 'Panipat

The actress, who is currently shooting for 'Housefull 4', has also begun the prep for the period drama 'Panipat', which is directed by Ashutosh Gowariker

Kriti will be playing the role of a Maratha queen, and for the same, she has started taking Marathi lessons! The actress revealed that since she is born and brought up in Delhi, the language is new to her.

Meanwhile, she has wrapped up the shoot of 'Luka Chuppi', where she will star opposite Kartik Aaryan for the first time. In her other film, 'Arjun Patiala', she plays the role of a journalist.

Is this the look from the movie, cause though she looks good, this is no where close to a Maratha Queen, she looks like the banjaran in the 70's or 80's. Wonder why Ashutosh a marathi himself would approve of this look

Wow, Ashutosh is directing Panipat? Its going to be good then, but why Arjun Kapoor as a Peshwa? It wont suit him, I dont think his personality will suit in a historical film 😕

If Im not mistaken the topic picture is from Raabta where Kriti played the role of a tribal princess

Lol no the pics from Raabta where she played a warrior princess in the thesecond half of the film

I think she is a good choice and will suit the part m just not sure how Gowariker will direct and also arjun as Peshwa seems like a misfit... but Panipat story does deserve a movie...
