lol..I really find it funny when pari calls Kunal buddy or handsome all the time. A child who only has one parent will stress the papa tag usually . And do 4 or 5 year olds go on about their father being handsome ... 😆 But Shakti said in an IV that he didn't want to be called papa so it's written in his contract that pari can only call him buddy or handsome. It's so funny...Shakti is married and old enough to have a child Paris age yet doesn't want to be called papa onscreen. Same as DD who didn't want to play the role of a mother onscreen yet she's married and in her 30s. We have the hot hunks of ITV like Shaheer sheik and Zain imam who despite being younger and single played the father roles with enthusiasm and were called papa by their onscreen children..and Erica and Aditi rathore despite being only in the mid twenties played mother roles and were called mama by their children ... and Aditi (Mauli) and Kunshuk have no reservations about being called mama and popsie ..

LOL Shakti was joking! If you have watched any of Shakti's interviews before, you must have seen how he often jokes with the reporters.
If he would have had reservations about being called papa, he wouldn't have continued with the role in the first place because even if you are not being called papa explicitly, you are STILL playing a father on screen, makes no difference.

Also correct me if I am wrong but Pari has called Kunal papa quite a few times while talking about him to others and also in the hospital scene where she says "stress papa stress".

i can not criticize actors for their terms and conditions of their contract but its actually funny that pari is a chotu sa kid and he doesnt wan to be called a papa.. is se acha toh papa ko role nhi krna tha.. 😆
are u serious tm??? i really cant digest this news..
I KNOW ITS HIS CHOICE.. but its FUNNY...

one correction - shaheer is not in younger lot..

i feel that actors are unnecessarily insecure.. there are so many examples in tv industry who played father/mother and then again they play lover boy/girl..

was he really joking ...he said it's in his contract lol. Anyway I like to see handsome actors playing the roles of young fathers ...when we have handsome father scenes with their cute children it's really nice, I don't know why these actors must feel insecure about playing mother and father roles...it doesn't mean that if you have a child you can't still have a love story and look sexy and beautiful 😆

I agree with your points but I think they're all insecure because of how fleeting fame is. This industry is very fickle...sometimes certain roles can make or break your entire career. I do believe this. I watched Bidaai 8-9 years ago...Parul Chauhan stayed post leap to play a Mom to 2 kids...after that she replaced a lead in a show which was on its last legs...then she disappears for several years...and came back on YRKKH...as what? A Mother in law...😕 I guess everyone takes their chances to try to keep on baggig lead roles...but there's no guarantee...any one of these ppl can sit at home and be jobless for years...i applaud the actors who are daring enough to play parents...but sometimes it doesnt work out in the long r un. Hina is immensely popular and very lucky..

i saw the IV...shakti was just joking abt it...if he really had issues of playing a father on-screen...he would have quit the show...he always loves to joke n fools around with the reporters...
i feel its no wrong to call your father buddy...handsome...these words are also out of love...my dad is no more...he died in an accident but when he was alive...i called him Dadda instead of pa...papa...daddy...sometimes i call him his name too...we have such bonding...even mishti calls ishaan popsie...when popsie is allowed why not buddy handsome furthermore i feel like cuddling pari and give her a kiss to her when she address her father buddy handsome
