One long post sorry for that.
the end sukk-1 is over with all us having our grief thoughts flowing in our posts.
The whole of Feb was an really worth a watch month for all fans and viewers of Kumkum serial and Juhi and Hussain.
Fantastic, natural acting with super-duper brilliance is always the forte of Juhi and Hussain and seeing them enact so real it really gave goosebumps. They complemented each other in all the scenes that the fluidity of the scene did not break any one moment. Hats off to them.
I would never want HuJu to ever enact a dying scene ever. Its most difficult to handle.
One time and that's it.
Before I write of the likes, would like to bring forth what would have been better if they would have handled it different
In the end not once but twice realism of the concept of pyaara sa bandhan faltered with cruel death
As earlier posted on this, rather they could have fast forwarded the gen and say the Sukk met their natural death to be born later. But yes for dramatics they had this but it bitterly failed the concept that good wins over evil, afterall they never created any hype of sukk death nor there were promos or left-right-center articles by BAG on end of sukk-1, then sukk-1 natural death route or a major accident track and they vanished in oblivion could have been taken rather than shooting and suicide.
Suicide wins and obsessed lover of a married woman wins should be condemned.
Was suicide a bitter and best end for a strong character like Sumit. I don't think so for the serial and as principles of the serial and for the society that was not the right thing.
Rather when she had her memory loss how he believed her to be alive because he is alive and when Pulkit said that Sumit is dead Kumkum did not believe it because she is still alive could be used for Sumit's end. They could have him holding her and with her each slowing breath towards the end should have made Sumit all the more getting closer to his end, he could have given God an ultimatum that if he exist he have to see that they live together or go together, the moment Kumkum snaps of her breath it should be the same moment that Sumit snaps off his heartbeat. The same moment not one millisec early nor one millisec late. Together. It should have been Sharman who should have touched Su and he too falls to the ground that would have held the concept true that either both or neither none.
They talked so much of the family in their vows and in the Tarzan-Jane Jungle journey in the end before seeing each other they see their family standing there coming close, they smile at them and then smile at each other and as they saw them, kumkum reaches her end with Sumit too would have made sukk life and us viewers fulfilled too. The reactions of the family as not very well come out, Neeti did it well, but the rest was surprised. Dadaji how could always sense danger for his kumkum had no before effects atall this time. Very sad to see their family arrive after they left, they could have had the whole family there split-second before their end would have been worth the fulfillment of their one of their last wishes.
As the end was approaching the way Kumkum characterization from a strong women telling her husband to be normal, don't do it and after the stab why did you do it to a women looking at the brighter side that it is not the end but the beginning of them to met again was so well sketched by the crew and portrayed by Juhi with her super perfect facial expressions, tone texture, voice modulation and acting.
Kumkum coming in between Sumit and the bullet unknowingly but as per her wish and vow it did happen that was a classic concept even though done many times. But Juhi naturalistic zing made it so heartfelt.
Hussain and Juhi naturalistic zing to the concept made it more believable the way when kumkum gets hit and their smile forever freezes even the nature freezes the water, the sky and the whole area. Beautiful done screenplay. Always wanted the Freeze direction in this story track., then later at the stab scene wow HuJu were great, and the way they moved to be with each other
Hussain was perfect when goes numb then angry then the way he bashed Pulkit and then completely lost was so well portrayed along with his facial expressions and voice and tone.
The way they hugged each other , and when they did the scene with kumkum holding both his hands never ever to part and he almost biting on her chunni never to leave her was well sketched by the crew and portrayed by Juhi and Hussain, and then the last very peaceful but lifeless faces of sukk was a perfect expression with a lasting impression.
Mukul too was really great in his scenes, the Kumkum lost forever expressions and dropping the gun and being a vegetable when Sumit comes to bash him was really mindblowing. Instead of suicide for Sumit, that was what I wanted to see in Sumit reaction as the time went closer for kumkum and then he too snaps out at the same time, but they gave the starting part of it to Mukul I felt very sad.
Each time never repeated style, texture of tone and modulation of voice by HuJu.
Juhi style of calling Sumit changed everytime do watch the time when Sumit falls of the slope the number of times she told Sumit she changed the dimension of her voice. Same she did when kumkum was hit and then when she felt Sumit would kill Pulkit the way she called out for Sumit and then when Sumit stabs himself her expressions were enough that asif she called out for Sumit oh god what have you done and then in their last moments.
Hussain too was really dot-on with his expressions and voice, the way he said Kumkum when she was hit then when she screams for him, the way he again says Kumkuuuuum and runs towards her, when he sternly tells k.kum he will take her to the hospital and then when she tries to tell him to be normal the way he says kumkum, and in their last moments
Loved their ever smiling faces while taking the pheras, asif ever fulfilled and no tension of not meeting ever all janams. Mast kalandar.
The last phera was the super-ultimate the best pre-climax Sukk were the best and HuJu were the best in all the scenes
Loved them in the Jane-Tarzan style prancing to glory in the Jungle at the envy of the viewers, fans and the jungle and Pulkit. Good buildup to the climax the crux of Sumit Kumkum relation of a ever-so-in-love couple., the right mixture in right quantity and doses of pulsating scintillating romance and fun and laughter with thrills and suspense. Afterall good they had no rona dhona for months with Pulkit entry. They mixed it in right measure.
So as the climax came, track was naturalistic then the track turned dramatic with the stab but the best part was that the track never became melodramatic (with loads of tear shedding). If you all noticed, HuJu had tears only at the end scenes before that they acted as firm believers for strong performances without tears as sukk were going to meet in all janams. There was no loads of tear shedding from them. So all the more I was stunned with their extra-ordinary performance without help of most tears.
To get those emotions right without more tears just nami eyes (wet eyes) is an hallmark
Hatsoff to the Duplicates for the long shot phera scenes (most of the semi-close and and all close phera scenes were taken by HuJu the real sukk) and during the fall in the slope by Sumit earlier.
