There have been multiple times this point is brought up in this forum that sameer is not serious..

so would like to give my opinion. This is how a typical marwari business family boys use to be in 90s. In 90s there was less importance for studies. In some families kids were asked to join business even when they were in school. So after school they would be going to their shop or office to learn the trick of the trade.

For sameer he doesnot need a plan. Joining business is his plan. His actual training would happen on job when he joins the business. So studying and scoring high marks is not needed. As of now he thinks that he is not yet ready for joining business. Thats the only problem. Once he is ready, he would put in all his effort to excel. But when and how would that realization of joining family business come would be interesting to see.

Sameer, from whatever has been shown about him so far, will turn out to be a very shrewd business man, thanks to his out of the box thinking...he knows how to get his work done...

There have been innumerable examples of this...Getting Anand to forgive Bela, convincing Anand for their love, Naina's GS campaigning, etc.

He has all the hallmarks of taking his nanus business further...now if cvs wish to give the credit to Naina, their wish 😆

All this while, Sameer was the smart one, n Naina the dumbo

I guess the realixation has to start from tis new current track ...Watever the insecurities or hassles he mite face, ...he would surely be questioning his strengths, his worth...N as it is Sam has in him to b a fine shrewd businessman...V all kno tat..His journey until now has had sme instances n incidences ..He is quite impressive n talented be the Radiojockey job he earned it by himself , Romeo or Mr freshers...He is passionate by heart n when he works wit zeal he achieves it fullfillingly...be the GS election where his support n sharp presence of mind made Naina won the post or convincing Princi for mixed dandiya..the gals sports team...or the dori scene ...He has always been quick in action...Thy has been mny instances where he stood on his own n witout anyones help...

So once he starts thinking abt his future ...im sure thy would be no turning back...He neds tat motivational drive to look forward...He is relaxed filhal ..but tat responsibility to shoulder n stand up has not knocked his senses!!!

No doubt Sam is smart but naina is definitely not dumb. She is purely hardworking n in short mechanical.Any person's brain works sharp enough when they r hyped much by others .

During school track naina earned so much trust with her hard work or being priciki chamchi that is d reason why none couldn't catch her lies (not even her father). Naina saved Sam from princi during scotter incident with her brain, she did lied to pricnci about chemistry lab incident .She did dare to protect shanti teacher n didn't reveal Sam or her name.

All this is because of self confidence which she build from childhood but coming to college all her confidence was slowly crushed by comments about looks , getting a first defeat with freshers competition n insecurities popped up more when Sam took sunaina name to make her jealous n get a bike ride.Slowly her confidence got completely vanished n one by one all insecurities circulated her

Where as Sam was treated as hero from day 1 in clg surrounded by girls n his frnds hyping him as hero every minute which made him more confident than school.During school he confessed that arjun is best n even if I read 2 chapters extra I would not be head boy but if same happened in clg he would have never uttered these words as he is treated as hero n perfect in all means

Post breakup because of Sam n gangs full support to naina she is turning self confident n it is visible in her answers with vishaka

In process of fulfilling her duties as GS she well slowly turn her hard work to smart work with progressing self confidence

Totally agreed, Sameer has always been brainy. Naina is hardworking but S is intelligent. If it wasnt for an unwavering support from S, N wouldnt stand a chance to win the GS competition opposite the scheming Sunaina. It was Sameer all the way. Be it getting the girls for the sports team or roping in Kumar Sanu or a timely management of a wardrobe malfunction, S always managed to save the day while all we got to see in N was a nervous wreck. S never needed any help from anybody to do what he wants whereas N always needed a team of friends around her.

I think both are equally talented and passionate we all had seen Naina how tactfully she lied for Sameer during the school days because all she wanted to be with Sameer and even Sameer had proved his intelligence many times like gs track fresher party because all he wanted is his Naina happiness it's just that they will put all their efforts if it brings happiness to the other one

Priya, very good point... I have seen the same thing in many business families, both Marwaris and Sindhis, where I was growing up... all the learning is on the job. College and education was always second priority... But they would all be very good businessmen... no MBAs were needed! 😛

As of now Sameer is very clear that after college he will join business and take it over one day. And inspite of not being too serious in the beginning, looks like he has improved a lot by the end of 1st year. As you mentioned what will puch him to join business will be interesting to see...
