TRP this week - 1.3

It's a point less than last weeks'. Last week TRP was 1.4.

Guys do watch this serial on Television only becoz TRP matters only.

Plz read the thread of tips to increase celebrity and CM ranking of DEM forum .

I fail to understand why this show doesnt get good trps, it's much better than most of that top 10 shows

3. IT HAS MUGHAL-E-AZAM TO LIVE UP TO, AND THAT IS NOT EASY, IT IS NOT EASY TO GIVE A CHANCE TO A SHOW LIKE THIS, WHEN YOU ALREADY HAVE AN EPIC MOVIE IN YOUR MIND! (NOT THAT I LIKED THE MOVIE, THE MOST OVERRATED CRAP I HAVE SEEN! BUT I AM SURE MANY LOVED IT!)

3. AUDIENCE LIKES SHIT SHOWS LIKE ZEE TV'S JODHA AKBAR (can someone tell me what was good in that horrid show? rajat's acting in it was beyond pathetic! AND IT WAS PURE CRAP IN COMPARISON TO THE MOVIE JA!)

5. THE TRP SYSTEM IN ITSELF IS A TAD FLAWED

OK Its like this a crap salman khan film will get 300 crore compared to a good movie with story same reason DEM-SA cannot get an audience

Second reason this serial should have come at 8pm not 8:30pm actually. 8pm is best time for such historicals

Third no promotions at all, many do not know such show exists on Colors it must be promoted on raodi, song channels and new channels etc

First week TRP was 1.9 now its 1.3. Reason is childrens part was pathetic and unbelievable. What with 6 year old kid saving 8-9 year old prince again and again? The VFX was bad too.

Fourth only Salims childhood should have been shown extensively with his family. anarkali should have been introduced only as adult like in Mughal e azam show. Entiire world knows anarkali was not Salim childhood friend(nur jahan was) so why show that they are childhood buddies?? Thats best part of their love they met as adults and fell in love irrespective of class barriers or professional barriers etc. Even today in 21st century if a prince loves a bar dancer or tawaif they will be scandal and shall never be allowed to culminate to marriage. That was 15th century so we can understand exactly that this love cannot complete.

Fifth Too much negativity in Salims childhood was bad, only attemts to kill him again and again and no safety to crown prince. Salim was too innocent and naive to be a prince.

Sixth Strong villan needed - Ruqaiah and hamida are not strong villan someone like a Sharifuddin or Abul Fazl etc should been villan not kitchen politics of Ruqaiah/hamida. Look at Jodha Akbar serial was a crap(first 3-4 months ok) but look at villans Maham anga/Sharifuddin/Adham Khan powerful villans must say. That JA show became success only because of it villans very powerful villans. Salim requires powerful villans against him not Ruqaiah/hamida etc they all look like caricature in front of him because he is shown as powerful personality on this show . These women and family can be side villans but can never hold as main villans against a crown prince Salim. Its time they must introduce powerful villans against Salim who plot while love story goes on parallel.

Seventh - show did not establish relaton of Salim with his mother, step mothers, step brothers etc and just jumped into plottting. No emotinal connect with the characters. So no matter what they do audience do not care much no impact emotionally. We never saw Jodha taking care of him or asking him what happened? Even as adult on salim goes to Jodha, Jodha seems least interested in her son. Same for other characters. Its like they are all living in a hotel no one is bothered about anyone in that palace. It does not look like a family.

I can go on listing reasons but will stop at this!!!

Look at Kumkum bhagya and Kundali bhagya and Yeh rishta kya kehlata hai

Its going round and round for past 3-4 years and yet on top (pathetic shows all)

Does it take years to know your ex wife has had your daughter? when you meet that kid and ex wife almost every other day???

JA serial was definetly bad story except its villans all villans majority were good. They lost plot when Salim was introduced and made too negative. Come on which 7-8 year old kid behaves like Salim in JA with his parents?

I agree that TRP system must be scrapped. Because of that horrible TRP we are getting pathetc shows like Nagin(i have never watched it buttt i can make out its utter crap)

Compared to that DEm and Porus and Yeh teri galliyan are much better shows in terms of story and acting etc

Mughal e azam was a hit because of its beautiful locales and songs and cinematography and only than story and actors. It did not have over top melodrama like of hindi movies(especially of those times) all kept in limit except few scenes like last scene when Salim is made unconcious and anarkali taken away. And Madubala looked so beautiful i doubt even todays times no heroine can match her beauty(no offence to sonarika or any other heroine). Honestly looking at madubala its believable that a crown prince would go so crazy in love that he would challenge the emperor to marry her. Like one dialogue in movie says if anyone saw anarkali the monk will give up his elibacy oath and emperors will give up their crowns for her. Dilip Kumar and Akbar did not have much to do than fight each other views or in wars. Madubala overshadowed everyone there esecially with her million watt smile and beauty.

I did not like the acting in Mughal e Azam and I do think Madhubala is overrated in terms of beauty and I could not even sit through a second of the tv show Jodha Abkhaz as Rajate acting was just that pathetic, so sorry I will have to respectfully disagree!

Another reason for not so great TRPS is that the festive season is on and people are least interested in starting new shows around that time, and shaheer and Sonarika were introduced too late!

Everyone over top acting Akbar, Jodha and Salim

It looked way over the top than any mughal e azam

Compared to those times Mughal e azam acting was much better it was not over top like those times

Jodha akbar story was bad after few months, Akbar was acting more like jhoru ka ghulam than an emperor. I thought Salim or Shah jahan's ghost had gotten into Akbar in that serial. Compared to that DEM Akbar Shahbhaz Khan is much better atleast you feel to mucjh extent that Akbar could be like this. OIn JA serial they did not maintain emperors aura or self respect. It was pathetic to watch Akbar begging his wife on folded knees etc even a lover boy Salim may not do that for his lovers or wives. Hopefully they do not show Salim begging at anarkalis feet in future in serial. Hes shown as no nonsense man in this show who does not bend to others.

That is USP of this show Salim is acting like how a crown prince should mostly even though he is madly in love with anarkali, hes not let go of his prince aura for lover or love till now. I mean hes not anarkali ka ghulam till now, hes a prince whose loving a girl who happens to be a courtesean. Hes not forgotten his prince role or aura for love and gone crazy like Akbar in Jodha Akbar serial. Thats best part of this show till now. Hopefully they maintain Salim character like this till end as stubborn egoistic strict and no nonsense guy. Thats how royals would be in those times.

I didn't find Mughal e Azam over the top, I found it extremely underwhelming I didn't feel like any of the actors were even remotely feeling their characters! And like I said for the show Jodha Akbar I did give it a ho right from the beginning, and it was utter crap, never seen a worse actor than Rajat

Obviously you have very poor taste. If you think the world wide success of Jodha Akbar serial(Indonesia , Ghana, Germany etc) was undeserved and that watchers of the show did not have good taste then I am sorry to inform you that it is you who has the problem, not them.

The actors(Rajat got awards for his performance in the series, Paridhi etc) were very good and engaging, the writing and direction was much tighter than the shambles that is Dastaan.

I gave Dastaan an honest shot but I am sorry to say that the shows stinks, and the sooner it ends the better, which won't be much longer as the ratings are beyond bad.
