Thugs Of Hindostan crashed out on Monday with 5 crore nett business and this was on the cards. The film has dropped 70% from Sunday and a huge 82% from Friday and it gets worse if we take the drop from the first day which was the holiday for Diwali.
The collections so far are 122.50 crore and with this Monday figure it can see that there is not much petrol left in the tank. The week will close out at 135 crore nett and then there is not much to come even though there is no major release till the end of November.
The business came down across the board on Monday and all circuits were at normal levels with maybe Mumbai and Delhi / UP being just a tad higher than normal.

The lifetime business of the film could finish below the 150 crore nett mark.
Thugs Of Hindostan has taken a huge hit on Monday with collections of 5-5.25 crore nett. The writing was on the wall with what happened on Saturday and Sunday with a clash being inevitable and that is what has happened.
This takes the business of the film to around 122.50 crore nett in five days and the first week will be looking at a total of 135 crore nett. The downfall is all over as even UP and Gujarat fall heavily on Monday despite the latter being on the last day of its Diwali holiday.
The film will continue to suffer over the next few days and also in the second week when business could be next to nothing and it could stay below the 150 crore nett mark which actually should have been covered in the extended weekend even if the film was just decent. Its a huge setback to the industry as its the big ones that have to score big to have a big year.
