Everyone mocked me for the past few years when I said TOH will fail, i've made multiple posts about it.
I would officially now like to state that Brahmastra will also follow suit. I adore Alia but the amount of attention and time they are spending on making Ranbir-Alia a couple only proves that the film is a dud.

I agree with you. What Ranbir/Alia are doing you can't manufacture stuff like that it just happens. 9 out of 10 times it ends badly. An if this is one of those times then people will be hurt. All this unnecessary drama can be avoided 😃 😃

50 Cr on opening day.. and 117 Cr weekend is not failure by any means..

With overseas and worldwide releases.. I am pretty sure 80% of the cost is recovered..

you do realize that failure/success is measured on profits made by distributors

and here there losses are alarming

a movie on a budget of 230cr plus and struggling to make a lifetime of 160 is a failure by every mean

also a movie which opened at 50 and merely made double the amount in 4 days holiday weekend is not a success by wildest strech of imagination. You are saying as if it made 117cr in 4 days with opening of 15cr..that would be success coz thats healthy trending..

as for producers..they always make money..anushka also made money on phillauri/pari..salman also made money on TL..shah also on JHMS..but they are all flops..it is always the distributors profits which determine threatrical success

Anushka, Salman and SRK made profits because they sold the rights to distributors and distributors suffered losses. But YRF distributes their movies themselves. YRF might have suffered huge losses imo.

I read movie focus on martial arts stunts than cartoonist vfx . n I hope so bcoz action scenes will be loved by fans. India has so many Jackie Chan's fans. If they make good use of martial arts u never know!

Toh was lead by an incompetent director, but Ayan knows he s stuff. So with kjo s backing, and rk as lead, I don't think it will fail, unless they don't have a good story.

It is the KRK ideology. Predict everything to flop. 50% of the time you get it right. Other 50% you say, you always predicted it to be a hit. 😆
