His most iconic and well known roles all have him being a man child

Bachna Ae Haseeno
Wake Up Sid
Ajab Prem
Rockstar
YJHD
ADHM
Sanju

^ for me his acting was similar in all of these films. Different scenarios and circumstances but the essence of the character and mentality - ALL THE SAME

Compare that to other actors graphs and you'll see where the gap is. Except you're a fan so you won't

The same day SRK's movie was playing in the other theater and I was shocked that people did not want to go to watch SRK but wanted to watch Ranbir's one. I found OSO better than Saawaria and felt that Ranbir may flop badly in the industry. But he proved me wrong and went on to do well but had quite many flops and really bad ones. He is a better actor of his generation and a good dancer as well. Hope he doesn't choose movies like BV and Besharam again and chooses scripts wisely.

after saawariya i thought sonam had the screen presence, star value and better acting and ranbir came across so awkward on screen, and weird looking, how wrong I was. ranbir won me over with bachna ai haseeno ( i loved his track with minisha lamba, hated deepika at that time) and I don't know where sonam's potential went, worse with each movie thereafter.

I also felt Sonam had better screen presence and aura than Ranbir in Saawariya, even though I liked him more than her...She was good in her next movie Delhi-6 too...But eventually she does seem to have lost the plot!

I voted for Barfi but Samar in Rajneeti is tied with Barfi for me. I would love to see him play more sinister & grey characters.
And as Sanju he was very very good.

I fail to understand how rockstar was a man child.

And his most iconic roles are barfi...and raajneeti...and sanju who was known to be macho. Also yjhd kabir...i fail to understand how he was a man child. He was not. A videographer travel lust person. But you will twist any which way so i suppose no ise arguing.

His best films and most iconic ones you conveniently ignored. Putting in bachna ae haseeno and adhm.😆 rockstar and yjhd are not man child. Sanju is what sanjay dutt is...biopics cannot have character change i guess.
Ajab prem was slapstick comedy. It was a bumbling loser guy...not a man child. Neither was wus. All of us have been like that during college job phase.

As for other actor graphs...maybe you know amitji was the angry young man. Srk is the romantic raj always. Its better being master of one trade than jack of many.😃

I liked him the best in Rockstar, Barfi, and Rajneeti.

But acting wise he has been good even in disasters like bv.

Aww, my favourite man-child finishes 11 years❤️
My most favourite film of his keeps varying, since I like many of them, but the best would be Wake up Sid and Rockstar.
