TOH's lifetime collections may end up BELOW Race 3's : BOI

Thugs Of Hindostan saw another drop in collections on Saturday which pretty much seals its fate as the film will doing very low numbers post its extended weekend. There is a good chance the film may also drop on Sunday as there is a big downward trend in collections.

The collections on Saturday were 22.75 crore nett apprx which takes the total to 100.75 crore nett apprx which is the same as Race 3 had collected in its first three days. The problem for Thugs Of Hindostan is that around 50% of its weekend collections have come on the first day and the three days should have been much more going by that.

The collections are being held up Gujrat, UP and Bihar and while these places also dropped 15% on Saturday they are at high levels due to Diwali and they will come off at one point of time. They are adding an extra 12% to collections everyday going by the normal ratios. The collections of Thugs Of Hindostan till date are as follows.

Thursday - 50,00,00,000 apprx

Friday - 28,00,00,000 apprx

Saturday - 22,75,00,000 apprx

TOTAL - 1,00,75,00,000 apprx

It hope was this film would be one of the better Diwali performers due to the names involved and the mega budget but it has turned out the other way as is the biggest Diwali disappointment in recent times.

Race 3 was an Eid disappointment earlier this year and if that expected Sunday drop comes with this film then it will be pretty certain that Thugs Of Hindostan will not reach the lifetime numbers of Race 3.
