well everyone says that nandini is kunal's true love but i differ...kunal is a weak man...he always loved mauli but took her for granted and doesn't understand his own feelings...nandini can be his mistress...his wife but not a friend...we do not how Kunan lives after marriage...there is surely a backstory to it otherwise kinshul would not convey that there will be a love triangle b/w him...kunal n mauli...which means kunal will fall in love with mauli all over again...realise and regret what he have lost...
I completely agree and I hope this is the story the writers tell. When Kunal mentioned his story with Mauli must've lacked something he couldn't even mention what it lacked. Because he himself didn't know. He just knew he loved Nandini. Kunal and Mauli's relationship was based on love that even he believed until the last moment was true and beautiful. It was based on friendship, partnership. You can't just lose all that and then not miss it. Kunal is still in the infatuation stage with Nandini, but what happens when he tries to go back to regular life without one of the core pillars of his life, Mauli? His life revolved around Mauli for so long. I don't think he realizes yet what he is going to miss. In the episode where Kunal drops Nandini at the clinic to go meet Nandini he asks himself if he has become blind in love. In recent episodes Mauli says that he is not seeing anyone else but Nandini. So I think even the writers are trying to show he is not thinking right at the moment. Just getting carried away in his emotions.
I also see Kunal falling in love with Mauli again. I just hope Mauli ignores his cheater ass. Maybe I will change my mind later if I think a proper redemption happened.
