AdiYa VM - Snehithane (by masala coffee)

Hi hello 😆

Sooo there is quite a long story behind this. I NEVER make VMs I've tried my hand at FFs, Siggies but never VMs (and you can see by the low quality of this VM) but when I heard this cover of Snehithane by Masala Coffee I LOST MY MIND and all I could think of was how sensual it would sound on AdiYa.

Now please keep in my mind: I know 3 words in Tamil: vanakkam, seri & ille. So I had to bug the sh*t out of my Tamil friends to help me edit the scenes correctly. (For example when the singer says koondhal nelvil ezhil koalach charivil I used the scene of Aditya undoing her hair 😆 )

And lastly, I wish with all my heart the song was longer! But no the singer ends up singing Kannathil Muthamittal next 🥱 and while I don't know any Tamil I saw that movie and I know it's about a father and daughter 😆 so I can't use it on AdiYa. Though it's a lovely song and maybe I'll save it for when AdiYa has their baby girl 😉

Actually found it funny in a good way as like yourself i've no idea what they are singing. Often thats a good thing, in connecting scenes with an unknown language :)

I'm not sure if you're familiar with the Hindi song Chupke Se from Saathiya - this is the Tamil version and everytime the music plays I keep singing the Hindi version in my head 😆

I love learning new languages, to me, everything just sounds more poetic when it's not in English ;)

Of course, in my lifetime i've watched a lot of Bollywood films, and still do at least once every month with my bestie :) She and I have to go to the cinema and its our thing to do.

I'd no idea it was the Chupke Se song but Tamil version... Rani and Vivek did so much justice to that track super hot and romantic! Hoping CVs will use that track reely on AdiYa :)

Aw that's so cute! None of my friends are into Bollywood as much as me so I usually end up binge watching by myself 😆 watched Dhadak last night in fact.

Now you're giving me an idea for another VM if there's KC romance 😳
