My funny analysis on Balaji Awards

My funny analysis on the show ...its just for fun....so please don't try to dissect my each and every statement please......

1) Anchoring - Funny...but i didn't like it.......I really liked Shabbo, Sangeeta ad varun's anchoring on SPA last year.......somehow since Sajid is not an expert on soaps.....his punchlines were not that great.......my rating 5/10

2) Celebrities Dresses - The entire TV industry put up a really bad show.......even the ones who are generally well dressed like Shweta Salve, Gauri Pradhaan and Rakshanda Khan somehow didn't look their best.......Ekta was dressed as if it was her wedding...that too big fat Panjabi wedding😆.....Panchi was also not at her best according to me....

In male actors..Ronit was bad...his cap and jeans were just not happening, Jay didn't comb and shave😆.....

My rating - 2/10 for the the entire wardrobe of the stars.......👎🏼

3) Acts - The acts are generally no good in TV awards.........most TV stars are bad stage performers......my Ranking:

1) SRK and Bahus - 10/10........I am SRK hater😆.....and still I just can't ignore him.......his energy level and the way he slowed down his performance for Neena-Navneet we too good.........he adjusted his energies for each pair and just made them so comfy on stage..........

2) Ekta-KJo - It wasn't as great as I was expecting.......and Ekta's forced American accent ruined it......the answers were not that witty......5/10...I wanted to give them 4, but one point to Ekta for saying "We can participate in a reality show...and I will make a phone call to channel and we will win"..Rakhi 's expressions were priceless....what was that shameless woman doing there? 🤢

All the rest 2/10.......In no other performance ....I could stop my hubby from forwarding😆 ......BTW Sanjeeda is much better dancer than Prachi desai.....why the hell did she agree to be on the same platform as sanjeeda?

BTW Shabbo wasn't looking cool in that Ganpat act...my hubby thought that he is some extra dancer who is filling in for somebody

3) Best Acceptance Speech - Devan Bhojani......"thank you god for making me so talented".....wow👏

Worst Acceptance Speech - Prachi Desai......the way she screams on mike thinking that either its not working or all of us are deaf.......

4) No brainer - Can someone who has a little extra brain please explain to me why Kareen was given the award? even my high IQ hubby couldn't guess it😆

5 ) Cheer leaders - Karan Patel, Vikas Sethi., Ronit roy and Rakshanda Khan.......the way they were cheering each and every act......Karan Patel was whisling in SRK's, Ronit's , Ganpath and some other acts.......these people really enjoyed the show......even Jay was good with his clapping....

6) Attended coz we were forced - 😆 Can someone please tell me why Saif was chewing a gum all the time and was so tensed as if he was watching a kyunki episode? He didn't smile even when Kareen got award ( or was he trying to figure out like us why she got award?)

Sunil Shetty and Gauri Pradhan also never smiled.....Baccha party ...now don't attack me on this.....but except the SRK act....i din't spot gauri smile......BTW she made a face exactly like me when Kareena's award was announced😆.....

Can someone tell me what Gauri did to Hiten when their names were announced? My husband..who doesn't know them...as a matter of factly said "she seems to be his wife "😆.....

Overall.....I didn't like the award function at all.........for me still SPA's are far more entertaining coz they make so much of fun of themselves .......

Ritu, fully agree with everything you said. 👏 The global awards were not as grand as the name suggests.Watched only Shabbo's performance (which was a let down because he hardly got shown), SRK's performance with the bahus and Ekta's rapid fire with Karan. Agreed Sajid who is always spontaneously witty seemed to force himself to be witty. And why does Malaika anchor such shows. The woman clearly lacks the talent for it. The entire show was so fake and boring, I spent most of the time here at IF while it was on.

loved reading ur analysis...going by your analysis and optimists comments im gonna give the awards a miss....its just a shame shabbir wasnt given much coverage while doing his act

that is soo true. I exactly agree. SPA awards are mindblowing especially with those acts of shabbir, sangeeta and varun. I did not find anything great in this. the start of some stupid suhaag rath jodi did not seem funny at all. It looked too very stupid. I think it was too much below our expectations.

coming to the red carpet. rather than asking some questions about the award ceremony they were talking more about their dresses. It looked soo much like a fashion show rather than an award show. Looking at it I felt how some TV stars are soo artificial and hyprocites lacking the orginality in them.

The stupid girl asking about kavita kaushik's boots, cost of panchi's purse, Nausheen's white dress. Oh my goodness it looked soo very stupid. Are we really bothered about where she bought her boots or how much did her purse cost. All we would like to know is who they think might win or who deserve to win.

This award ceremony was a total show off. ANd coming to Shabboo, that poor guy is treated like an extra in movies. He is not given the same recognition as other stars. I guess he should realize it ASAP. I think if we had him sangeeta and varun host the show it would have been mindblowing.

Hey Viday...I watched online..so I gave the stupid Red-carpet....the Gyni-sayani and their pathetic interviews a miss....but that suhag-raat was totally uncalled for 🤢 ....

Okay that's indeed funny😆. Yes we Shabbir/Milind's lovers would be the coolest fans of any actors, since we're used to hearing insults for our "idol", coming straight from our closest people😭.

😊Maybe that's only because her current on screen partner was busy dancing (as an extra).
