Rights of a mother

Indian television is funny that way, in every show female lead ie big actor gets rights of mother, no matter whose baby it is, even in SBRK, Mauli's rights have been given to Nandini by Kunal, clear indication that in future if there is a baby, Nandini will love her more because female lead ke love ke samne baki sab fail. This is what happens in YHM, no matter who's the mother Ishita ends up raising the baby. Only show where big actor or female lead didn't get the baby was Beyhadh, where Maya died after giving birth and Sanjh got the baby girl. Beyhadh was iconic in so many ways.

This show is so regressive, so Kunal left Mauli because she didn't give him time but as a single mother, it's obvious she won't be able to spend as much time with her child as Nandini would, means women who work, who want to live for themselves or who want to be something have to let go of their family.
Ridiculous, the show is worse considering writer, female lead and Aditi, all are working women with family. They are degrading themselves with this stupid show

Case of YHM was different. Shagun herself left Ruhi and never cared for her and Ishita got to mother the child and Ruhigot mother in Ishita. As for Adi, he grew on to respect Ishita as a mother and his father's wife. But Ruhi-Adi considered Shagun as a mother too.

There was a time when Shagun herself left both Adi-Ruhi to ishita since she realized her children would always be safe with her.

Kunal didnot give rights of a mother to Nandini. He just said as his wife, she would love his child as his own as is the mutual settlement couples reach in such relationships. He never said Mauli won't be the mother. Besides, Kunal has his family with Mauli who could also take care of the child, so there is no point of Nandini giving more time to child than Mauli. If Mauli had said about Nandini not being around her child when he visits the baby, Kunal would have to abide with it.

This is a way of parenting people reach in such situations, where child gets a different upbringing. Nothing new about it. Even KRPKAB explored this idea once. Foreign showst have it all the time.

Ishita raised Romi's son, Adi's son idhar udhar ka baby she got to raise but only to a certain point.
We are talking about an itv show where EMA is divine love. In YHM first few episodes, Ruhi got attached to Ishita because Raman didn't spend time with her and in SBRK, Kunal left Mauli because she didn't spend time with him, don't you think they will introduce a track where Mauli's child falls for Saree wali ma ki kheer?

I do not think Kunal meant that at all. He meant that making a child a point of reconciliation is not right. He meant when the child visit them, Nandini will also love the child. He did not mean to take the child from Mauli but about sharing the child with her with Nandini at his side.

Basically, if they do not reconcile, its needs to be mutual decision between Mauli and Kunal. Its their child, not Mauli nor Kunal's. If this the route they are going, they have to mutually decide on what the next step would be. Kunal is not taking any right from Mauli, he is just want to be part of the baby's life and whenever its come to the baby, it would be joint decision of Kunal and Mauli if they separate.

But the relationship between Mauli and Kunal is not this simple, is it? Mauli has feelings for him and he knows hence he lied to her about giving his relationship a second chance, what I am trying to say is that there is nothing mutual between these two, Nandini takes a decision and Kunal fulfills it. He could have said that he is back for the child but he said that he wants to give the marriage a chance, is lying part of mutual relationship?

Also I am talking in terms of itv and their silly plots where child is taken from mother and given to female leads, if there is a child and the show lasts long enough to show a future track then be sure of it that the baby will hide things from Mauli because Mauli ma time nahi deti hai and Nandini ma kheer banati hai. Radha Krishna to they are, now Nandini will be Yashoda too
