This show has lost it completely now. Good job showing the affair as so called true love which in reality is non-existent.

3 ruined characters with 2 broken lovers and one dumb wife. Mauli could have easily gotten past with pregnancy with the firm family support she had. I mean people survive pregnancy in much worse. Kunal could have gone for living separately. No woman can let go of emotional cheating just like that. Again a divine angle to show Mauli's dumbness. What do the writers smoke while writing the script?

This was a perfect moment to show 3 separate journey but no, how can we let go of patriarchal setup even in this era.

The way this show prioritized men and romance is hideous be it of KuNan and now of MauNal.

Which audience is this show catering to right now? KuNan shippers hate it, Mauli lovers hate it, even neutral audience hates it.

So, the makers want to show an affair as janam-janam ka pyaar, they even ruined the breakup song with the situation. Good job they just achieved it.

Screw the writers of this show. They butchered all 3 characters successfully.

P.S- So, the lovers have not yet broken up.or is it someone's imagination now, mainly of Kunal as per my guess.

General consensus in such cases is that marriage is ultimate, so even if a spouse steps out of a marriage, family pressure sometimes forces couples to stay together thinking its lust not love. This might work if its physical EMA but if its emotional then its not that easy to come back to a marriage when you do not feel anything for your previous partner. I think that what they are showing now, that what happens to a marriage if a person is forced into it. How its an unhappy and unhealthy situation for everyone around them especially as one partner has already moved on and the other is still waiting. How difficult it is to build that tuning back which was normally a habit for both of them.
