He simply does what Sreesanth tells him to, but he should listen to himself first. I also believe that, Shiv was waiting for Sreesanth to give a response whether they all should boycott doing all of the tasks or not.
Why is Shiv not concerned about what he thinks, is Sreesanth's opinion more important than his individual thought process.
Shiv is following the herd mentality where he is seeking permission for little things from Sreesanth, he is completely making himself dependent on Sreesanth and Sreesanth is taking advantage of this.
